Just a great experience overall. Getting a quote and booking was very easy through the online tool and e-mail. They were very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Bogdan took the time to explain options once he saw that we had oil based finish in the rest of the house. There was literally no dust...Wow! The finish exceeded all my expectations. The only problem is now I may have to refinish all the floors in the rest of the house because of how great the 2 rooms that were refinished look.

I received various quotes, including unusually low ones, and interviewed multiple services. When I insisted on using eco-friendly products or inquired about their work methods, some either disappeared or significantly increased their prices (thinking that any price would be acceptable in Rockcliffe). We recently had Bogdan re-finish our modest red oak flooring and the results are simply stunning. Our floor had the stereotypical reddish brown glossy finish and we wanted a natural appearance that would simply showcase the wood in its natural form. Bogdan provided recommendations to us to make this happen. He carefully and skillfully sanded and prepared our floors before applying several clear coats of protectant in a satin finish. No stain, as we just wanted the natural colour of the oak to come through. I always thought that our floors looked okay previously, and that they just needed a touch up, but wow, what a significant difference! Bogdan's work brought out so much additional beauty and character to our floors that you wouldn't believe it's the same wood. The surface of the floors are so smooth and uniform and they really show off the character of the oak in ways that they simply didn't before. We're very impressed with Bogdan's work. Oh and one more thing. Virtually zero dust. I suffer from allergies and was expecting some discomfort, but I had literally zero issues. The equipment used was amazing at keeping everything tidy and the air quality in our home great. Highly recommended!
