Crosslake Veterinary Hospital
I was in the area visiting relatives when I noticed blood in my dog’s urine. We called at least six different places and Crosslake was the only place that would take us that day. I was so impressed with the care that they provided. If we ever need vet care again when in the area we will definitely go back (although I hope we won’t have any more emergencies!)

Helping caring staff, speaks very technical lingo, though. None of us went to vet school, nor do we have access to the material you do.... Otherwise, animal care is something we could figure out ourselves.... that's why we hire you. Please use layman's terms when talking to owners about care.

Two big dogs and one growing puppy equals more than a few vet visits, and these folks are the best of the best—that includes the front desk staff, the vet techs, and all three docs. For everything—routine care and vaccinations, allergy treatments, hot spots, emergencies (once involving a too-large stick and a dislocated jaw)— I wouldn’t take my furry crew anywhere else…and the three doggos must agree, as they love their visits!

It so difficult when your pet reaches the end of his or her life. It's even worse when you're away from home. Unfortunately our dog Herky reached that point while we were on an extended trip to Crosslake. We contacted Crosslake Veterinary Hospital. The entire staff was caring, kind and compassionate from the initial phone call to the final procedure. They made a terrible situation as easy as possible. Nice facility and an outstanding staff.

Dr Rachel Johnson was outstanding! Her time commitment and care in trying to resolve my pets issues went above and beyond my every expectation. Her kindness and concern for my pet was so relieving as my stress level was so elevated.The rest of the staff were additionally kind and supportive.I was so happy and grateful for their help!

My dog was throwing up for a day and 1/2 and was in pain. We are pet people and were up all night with our sick dog. I called ahead as it was Sunday. I was met at the door. They took Rose and preformed a full exam. After a brief consult with the other vets, they gave me the recommendation. All options good and bad. A brief stay where they kept an eye on her. That evening I was able to pick up a dog Already on the mend. Dr Caitlyn and her assistant cared...and that was obvious. I fully recommend this hospital. Professionalism, Reasonable rates, caring staff, why would you go anywhere else? Thanks a bunch!

We saw Dr. Anderson and he was fantastic! Very thorough and informative on a new diagnosis of epilepsy for our dog. He took his time with us and made sure he answered all of our questions. Thank you!

The Crosslake Vet is the absolute best to go to! We have been to several vets but after one time at Crosslake Vet we have stayed ever since. They remember our pets by their names and everyone there is so nice and inviting. I would not trust my dogs and cats with anyone else! Cannot recommend this place enough.

We are from out of state and needed our 1 1/2 yr old cattle dog seen for a dog bite wound. We tried 3 local vet clinics, no appointments available, tried 3 more further away, same thing. Called and talked to, I think her name was Tiffany. She said she would talk to her Dr. and call me right back. She got us an appointment. It was about a 70 mile drive, but well worth it! Everyone was awesome. Thank you Dr. Rachael Johnson and Macy for taking such good care of Ozzie.
