Beyond Van Gogh Surrey

The exhibit left me wanting more. I was lucky enough to attend with a very knowledgeable companion. I received a more in-depth explanation and timeline than the exhibition provided. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm glad I had the chance as I missed out on the Vancouver one.

Incredibly beautiful. I felt truly moved by having the chance to walk, breathe, and live within Van Gogh’s paintings. The space was big enough for everyone to walk around and enjoy their own experience without having to worry about others. Families were able to relax while kids enjoyed it running around and playing on the floor. Great soundtrack. An hour of pure joy : )

The whole experience is great, the only thing I didn’t like is the parking fee. It’s beautiful visual show of life and art created by Van Gogh. The souvenir shop’s a little bit overpriced though we still bought pieces as souvenirs.

I went here last night with my fiance. We really enjoyed the projection, the art went perfectly with the music. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The only thing is the tickets could be a little bit cheaper.

I really liked it! It had a lot of information, and it was nicely done. However, there was no naming of his paintings, so if you liked any, you had to google it for the name. It felt a little rushed. And the gift shop is ridiculously expensive. Also, for the price we paid for the tickets, the $10 parking fee is unacceptable.

Super disappointing! My husband had been wanting to see this exhibit for the last two years ; so I decided to surprise him for our anniversary. Not worth the price of admission; then they tack another $10 on for parking. They say you can stay as long you want; unless you need to use the washroom, then you cannot come back in . Walking in I felt like I was watching a power point presentation, then we come into the main room where the actual exhibit was and there’s four small benches that only fit two people. The rest of the people needed to stand. There was a poor elderly couple there who didn’t stay as there was no seating for them. It was so poorly put together and just seemed like a cheap, a power point presentation, followed up by a projector show that you had to stand through. Disappointed can’t even begin to explain how I felt. Between the admission and the parking we were out a hundred bucks. Oh and I didn’t even mention the ridiculously over priced gift shop, $5 for a post card. If you’ve seen the commercial on tv; you’ve seen the exhibit. Stay home and spend your money on a nice dinner.

A nice experience, a little overpriced for what it is. Don't pay for the ten dollars parking, there's plenty of parking on the street right next to the agriplex. I wish they would have told us when we were there that the main exhibit is all in one room. We were thinking there was. Separate exhibits in different rooms, but there really isn't. There's an opening room where it tells you about van Gogh and then the bigger room where all the projection art is and then that's it after that it's the gift shop. I think if the tickets had it been half the price. It would have been a better deal.

I had a good experience, music was very nice too.

I mean...... I wasn't expecting a powerpoint presentation.They were very few interesting effects but overall, it was pretty lacking. Way too overpriced for the experience which consists of just truly one big room not fully immersed.They know the target audience is pretty much for social media cool pics but if you're looking for an art show, just go straight to a museum. It will be less expensive and much more worth your time and commute.

We thoroughly enjoyed this exhibit! Received as a gift from our kids, what a wonderful gift is was!Give yourself time to enjoy, stay a while and take it all in.For those who thought this might be expensive, just remember, if you were on holidays somewhere, you wouldn’t bat an eye about spending money on seeing this!Lots of parking, so no need to pay $10 .
