Need more stars 7 stars at least. The staff at Bradford Valley are amazing. My mother Marlene moved in during a break in covid and from the time time she arrived to last day. They gave their all. Cottage house where mum was were always friendly,supportive and honest. Thank you for your amazing staff

My dad turned 93 yesterday. He has lived at Bradford Valley Care Community since Nov 2019, moving in after suffering a massive stroke that resulted in some vascular dementia. Little did we know what the next few years would hold for all of us when Covid hit in early 2020. Through these past few years we have been bombarded by the media and their negativity towards long term care homes. I would like to publicly say how grateful I am to the staff at Bradford Valley. To Cathy VanBeek, the Executive Director, and Kathy Wheeler the Assistant Executive Director, thank you so much for your leadership, dedication and support. Thank you for your courage and tenacity. To the rest of the leadership team, Dr McConvay & Catherine Bennett, NP, and especially the staff who work on Garden home area thank you all so much for your kindness, compassion and expertise. I am so grateful for the excellent care and support you provide to my dad each and every day and for always ensuring I am kept in the loop. No matter what time of day or night I come to visit my dad, I always find him clean and comfortable. Although he cannot always tell me how he is doing, on the days he can, he consistently thanks me for bringing him to live at Bradford Valley and he tells me how good the staff are with him.I don’t know how many more years, months or days I still have left with my dad, but I do know that because of the great care my dad receives at Bradford Valley, I do not have any guilt knowing he is living in a nursing home and I take great comfort knowing how well the staff care for him.

To ALL the wonderful staff at Garden House- THANK YOU for taking such excellent care of our dad. Everyone went above and beyond to love, care, and support him. We felt so happy he was part of the Bradford Valley Care Community.

My mother- in-law has been living in the Country house for the past 4 months and is having a wonderful time. Everyone is friendly and accommodating and she is always thrilled to introduce us to everyone she remembers the names of. My wife and I enjoy our visits with her mom, staying for lunch, visiting the lobby, the garden and being able to sit and reminisce at our leisure. Mom has enjoyed the bus trips, and all the activities that Ashley plans for her group. She enjoys the variety of food offered and the fact she doesn’t have to do all those dishes.

Bradford Valley was my mothers 3rd residence once Alzheimer’s meant she need full time care and it was by far the best. The staff were kind and caring and we always felt Mum was in good hands.

Worst place! My brother was there for 4 days total which included two times in the local hospital and died! The worst experience ever. Find any other facility if you truly love the family member, if they can’t be cared for at home. Sadly the choices of nursing homes in this area are limited but anything has to be better than this place!

This is written on my daughters account. Bradford Valley is a top rate facility! The staff are always friendly and caring. I have peace of mind knowing they are well cared for. Any concerns are addressed immediately or in a timely manner. My mother was in Orchard House for 8 years and now my father (6 years) and aunt (4 years) reside in Lakehouse. The staff in both units were exemplary and continue to be each and every day. I feel blessed that my loved ones are in their care.

I have contacted this nursing home several times to stop calling my phone. They repeatedly call with patient information that has nothing to do with meThey fill up my mailbox even though I continually call them back to tell that I’m not the doctorThis has been going on for monthsI have message left about patients falling, wounds, etc.I just got a phone call about a patient who died and that is the final straw for me! I am going to record these messages and report it to the ministry. I have called and spoken with charge nurses countless times and the issue still isn’t rectifiedAt this point this is a HIPPA violation

Worst place you can ever bring your loved one to, poisonous personnel seated in the higher ranks insubordinate and disorganizedPushing down on the waged workersInstances of residents running out from the homes onto the streets crossing the roads with their walkers and knocking on doors lol, NEVER bring your loved one here if you truly care about them

I was here this past Sunday, the staff were all outstanding. Starting from my initial contact with Clara, all the way to the nursing staff, they were all exceptionally friendly and helpful.Thank you for the warm hospitality.John
