Very disappointing, picked up a 20 piece of chicken yesterday. When I got home the chicken was greasy and it smelt/tasted as if it was fried in OLD OIL. Considering it's pricey the standard was below average. The ube cakes on the other hand were very good Would not recommend the chicken.

I almost always stop here when riding through Richmond to fuelUp for the return to North Vancouver. I usually have the chicken sandwich and it is so big that I have to split it with another rider. It is the best chicken sandwich that I have ever eaten. Sure you have to wait 10 minutes for it. Why? It’s because they cook to your order and that’s why the sandwich is fresh and delicious.

Below-mid chicken. For $25 for 8 pieces I expected a lot better especially in terms of color. The chicken is unusually dark but it does not make it any crunchier or juicer than its competitors. If you got the money and no other options close by, I guess you could buy from here.

Chicken is hot and fresh. Perfect crispiness all the way to the bones. Meal combos 7.99 2pc, 8.99 3pc and 12.99 5pc. Chicken buckets available. Specialty yam desserts. Seating area is tight at bar tables but not bad for quick snack. Limited soda selections and condiments. Overall delicious fried chicken!

WOW. Finally a place that knows how to cook ckicken and its still juicy and flavourful. The fries are much better than many places i havw been. Always cooked fresh for every order. Each piece of chicken is plump and large. I love good gravy. They deliver the goods. Friendly people. Just a small place. Has a nice couple of tables with umbrellas, if you just want to sit and eat. Mostly set up for takeout. I am in wonder how they made a great spiced coating, without all the extra flour stuff. Found in many of these fried chicken takeouts. Will be coming nack here for more. Glad i stopped and had some.

We had the 5 piece chicken combo with mashed potato and filipino pasta for our sides. They ran out of chicken thighs so we ended up getting drums sticks and wings. The flavor/seasoning tasted great! Actually its pretty good compared to church's. Less greasy.I wish the drum sticks had the same level of crispness as the wings. We will for sure be back.

I used to frequent the one on Main till it tooka nose dive and finally shut its doors for Hellcrust Pizza. Not sure how they stayed open as long as they did. On repeated occasions the chicken had no flavour, was more tendon and bone than meet (they told me they switched suppliers), and the restaurant refused to take any responsibility beyond (we will look into it). With the restaurant industry being so competitiveYou’d think they’d put more effort into making right. Instead they’re reduced to the one location in Richmond. Hope they learn from their mistakes and go back to the Og recipe which was great rather than cut corners and offer such mid tasting chicken at an inflated price.

Legit one of the best fried chicken joint in town. It was so well seasoned and the batter was crisp with a good hint of black pepper. Very juicy and moisture. Price is reasonable and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place. Also the location was great because I was able to take my chicken to the docks and enjoyed it there with the view. I was kinda getting sick of only eating fish and chips, this place is a great change of pace.

Ordered take-out on April 30. We had the 10 piece with french fries.Overall, chicken was very good. Had very good crunch and the meat was moist. It was delicious. We ordered regular and thought the chicken was well seasoned. A couple areas were overly salted, but it did not take away from the overall experience. Pieces were of good size, especially the thighs.The french fries were good, though they were surprisingly cold by the time we came home, which was roughly 25 minutes. I did find their choice of sides on their menu limited. Would have been good to have a little more variety, instead of the different types of potato offerings or the sweet macaroni.Overall, the chicken was very good and would go back. Note, I have had take-out at their South Vancouver location and thought the chicken there was good as well.
