Restaurant Kalypso
Salut to the Chef! Their food is INCREDIBLE. I’m definitely coming back to Sherbrooke just to dine at Kalypso again. I had the 3 seafoods (shrimps, octopus, calamari) with volcano sauce with rice and I was so impressed that I almost cried. The grilled bread what seemed like pita that comes with the meal was great as well as the soup. The volcano sauce is fantastic but spicy so I’d only recommend it if you have good spice tolerance. Unlike many restaurants, Kalypso’s food has real flavor.. it’s not boring!

The menu was simple, food was delicious, waitress was jovialand welcoming service was awsome,! I greatly recomende it for birthday partys, meeting with friends, romantique diner in nice antille ambiance or even as i did go their alone just to enjoy.

Great place! Service and reception was impeccable as the waitress my group had was great!The food is generally pretty good, with some more exotic and uncommon flavors. The dishes, as well as the entrées, come in pretty generous sizes, so definitely prepare for a big meal coming here! Nice selection of drinks.There is some seating outside if you so prefer, however there is a good amount of space inside. No real need for reservations, unless you are a large group (8 people or more)

A beautiful place with a unique dining experience. Cuisine is a mix of Mauritian, Indian, Asian and North African foods. The meal is served with a starter of flat bread with four different dips. You also get a house soup and then the mains is a choice of seafood, vegetarian and meat options. Very well presented and served. Camille our server was very polite and ensured that all the dietary needs of our party was satisfied. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and a pleasurable experience.

We had an amazing dinner! The staff was super attentive and courteous. The food was very good. The fish and unique sauces were great. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Since the meals are highly customizable, it's a restaurant we love to go to with bigger groups, as everyone finds something they like. Everything is good. The soup is amazing.

So delicious!! The two starters that come with the meal are lovely; fresh buttery pita bread with a unique selection of dipping sauces and a really interesting tomato based soup with pineapple. For the main I had the scallops with Coco Seychellois sauce (which I get every time because it’s so good I can’t bring myself to try a different one).

Cute place, good terrace, great service, friendly staff, simple but perfectly-cooked meals. Good place for a date, an anniversary, or a good hearty dinner with friends or family!
