One of the best restaurants in Ottawa I have ever been to. I can’t get over their 4 cheese pizza..it’s a sin to skip that one. Polento bites and stuffed mushrooms were something new to try. Both were delicious.I was there on my birthday. I got treated with a cake and head chef wished me birthday in opera singing style.

Hubby and I came here for our 25th wedding anniversary after hearing rave reviews. It did not disappoint! I can only eat gluten free and almost their entire menu has a GF option. I had lasagna for the very first time in a decade since becoming GF. It came with Caesar salad and garlic toast. Also had the polenta appetizer. Hubby had the non GF pizza. All of it was absolutely delicious! And we were beyond stuffed and brought half of it home. We found the prices reasonable too considering how much you get. Also, they were super short staffed that night so the owner was acting as host/busboy/chef but despite all this service was great. We will definitely be back!

Food was good, service was great aswell. The waiting time for the food was a little long, about 30 min. The 10 people and more policy is a little annoying, u get charge 25% of tip automaticly. Even more considering we were a group of 10 but sitting at 2 different table, 6 and 4. Overall not bad.

Absolutely delicious Italian food! I’ve been here a few times now and every time I’ve tried a new dish (admittedly all pasta ones). I highly recommend this place to all my friends and peers. Their addition of a gluten free menu is also a huge win for my celiac friends. Furthermore, the owner/head chef himself comes out and chats with the guests. Very nice person, and has a wonderful singing voice!

This is supposed to be their Pasta Fruit De Mer. It came greasy, with almost a sour fishy taste. All the seafood" used appears to be jarred. You pay so much for a container of sour fishy butter noodles. 6 couldn't continue eating it because it smells and tastes old. I'm so SO disappointed. There are so many better places in Ottawa that offer quality seafood pasta. Avoid this place like the plague"

Very disappointing. The dough was hard and frozen. The tiramisu is far from an Italian delicacy. Nothing Italian or authentic about this place. Not to mention the bad service, the servers asking each other if I tipped before I even reached the door out. I do not recommend this place at all.

I’ve been eating gluten free for some time now and this restaurant was recommended to me as having a dedicated gluten free kitchen, as well as their regular menu. My partner and I were so pleasantly surprised when the chef came out to speak to us about both of our dietary restrictions. He made note of them, then presented us with an antipasto plate that was absolutely scrumptious! He even came back later on to see how we were enjoying it. They have a huge selection of gluten free apps and mains, as well as desserts. Everything we had was very well-seasoned and tasted great. We will absolutely be back! Thank you guys so much for going above and beyond.

As close to authentic Italian food and dining experience as it gets! La Dolce Vita’s is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, especially in the Ottawa area. As someone who eats Gluten Free, I was amazed at the variety and selections the Gluten Free menu had to offer. The flavours of the meal are beyond exceptional. The atmosphere is cozy inside with Italian music playing, and the outside patio is a great place to socialize in the summer months. Although the service is on the slower side, this is the true Italian way lol! Servers are extremely friendly & knowledgable on the drinks and menu choices. For anyone who has Celiac or a Gluten intolerance, this is the place for you!10/10 would recommend to friends, family & anyone seeking authentic Italian food.
