This is without a doubt the best place in Kitchener-Waterloo for pretzels. It was and is the go-to place for a Saturday lunch for us with warmed up pretzels (butter in between) and coffee. The pretzels are so good they are the official supplier of pretzels for Kitchener-Waterloo during Oktoberfest and that says a lot. Pretzels are not their only specialty they have a wide range of breads, buns, pastries and other goods baked onsite. Staff has always been very friendly. The main location is in Waterloo on Lexington Street in a small plaza along with several other outlets throughout the city. The plaza itself has a number of stores such as a restaurant, health food store, Ministry of transportation etc.

Highly recommend! You can even buy items in bulk. My wife loves their pretzel buns! And their pretzel dinner rolls are even better. Their prices are pretty fair too. oods here!

The staff member we spoke with here was so amazingly kind and helpful! She walked us through the items they had as it was our first visit. Everything looked delicious! If you eat Gluten Free this business is not a gluten free business. They do have a large selection of gluten free items in the room on the left and in the freezer. Make sure you ask which items are gluten free!

Best. Pretzels. Ever.Also pretzel buns, pretzel sticks, pretzel bagels...Plus many other items that are not pretzels: breads, buns, cakes, pastries... And the list goes on.But back to the pretzels! I get about 2 dozen at a time. I freeze them, then vacuum seal them individually. Microwave 45 seconds, add mustard, and it's just like you're in NYC!Pro tip: Pretzels usually come out of the oven at noon. If you want mass quantities, call ahead and make an order. They also deliver, but I like to go in person, just in case something delicious catches my eye.Enjoy!

Recommended: I didn't taste anything, but everything looked lovely. The prices seemed a bit high, but it was a private store not a chain. There were multiple options for gluten-free. The pastries and baked goods looked delicious. The store employee was quite friendly and helpful. They carried multiple brands of products from other gluten-free companies, organic options and health related issues. I would return to try them.

LOVE the pretzels!!! Better pretzels than in Bavaria! The pretzel buns are a staple at our house now - the perfect bun for breakfast sandwiches or pulled pork... Their pretzel dinner rolls are perfect with stew or chili... And for special occasions, we love the giant pan pretzel!

Had to hit the DMV to renew my license and saw this place. Nice clean store and very friendly staff. The bagels were good, but unfortunately the croissants were very stale bordering on inedible. I was there at 10am on a Tuesday and possibly they were yesterday’s stock? Maybe they’re better on the weekend?

Had to stay outside for a few minutes as the store is small and there were only 2 people allowed. I spent sometime looking at all the goodies and decided to get a treat. My choice did not dissapoint. I only regret not getting more than one...Florentines for the win! An exquisite layer of black chocolate and almonds and all the other goodies on top. The best? It was just the perfect amount of sweetness and you can easily eat it and even more ...delicious

Nice products. Had the giant pretzel. If they would have pre-made dips prepared for sale, I'm positive people would add this to their purchase. We certainly would have. But they do send along recipes which was helpful.
