Lordship Marine

Once again, the boys at Lordship Marine got the parts for my Yamaha outboard. Service was excellent, quick, and knowledgeable. In and out quickly and on my way. Thanks again!

We picked up a new boat and Evinrude motor out of dealership in Campbell River in October 2020. We run it daily to commute to and from our island home and after a few months of daily use we started having issues with it starting all of a sudden. As we do not have a trailer or the ability to get it back up to Campbell River for warranty service, we reached out to Lordship to see if they could help us out. David was willing to come to Horseshoe Bay and pick the boat up on his own trailer for us and bring it into the shop for repairs.Turns out our issue was one of those weird electrical ones that are very difficult to find, and after an initial fix was done and the boat returned to us, it acted up again. This time, David took half of his day to come over to our location on a ferry and pick the boat up again. His team worked on it and dealt with Evinrude on the warranty issues and managed to get it all sorted out for us.They will definitely be getting our long term service and parts work thanks to the great customer service we received.Thank you David and crew, we appreciate all your efforts!Jason and Megan

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful folks. I picked up an old boat with an Evinrude/Johnson and the folks over at Lordship Marine were able to get me sorted right quick to get me out on the water.

Whenever I encounter solid ethical business practice it’s worth a shout out. Especially when I obviously was not a big spending customer and it would have been easy to do dupe me.Recently bought an really old 2 stroke 4.5 outboard motor off FB market for $300. Took it here for an assessment and tune up. Business was straight up telling me that to do the assessment thoroughly it would be a week or so and there is a fee.Yesterday I got a detailed break down of “the bad news” from them of all the repairs had to be done. That amounted $1000, the price of a similar brand new outboard.Now these guys could have got the engine going, for much less I would have paid believing it was fixed but I would then have broken down out there crabbing or lost on a big lake.Nice to know there are big businesses out there who still care for the small guy.

Had a question about prop replacement n they were extremely helpful n knowledgeable about it. Being new to boating they were great!
