Sunrise Caribbean Restaurant

I came here to post my experience with this location and wow! There is so many bad reviews. They clearly do not care about their customers or reputation. The owner now needs to be held accountable for their employees by taking this a step further than just a review. These bad reviews go back so far and is still open? That needs to change! I ordered my food through uber and I ended up just tossing out the food and go to bed without dinner. It was not edible whatsoever. The side order of fish was so hard and dried out as you can see in thr photos. The meal was sloppy as if it was thrown in the container and then poured the gravy on the side. The gravy was cold because it didn't even move. I was served cold hard sloppy food. Horrible customer service and bad food?! Seems like Better Business Bureau needs to be involved now since they clearly don't care about this establishment. If they are not paying attention to their reviews they clearly don't care

I must have caught this restaurant on a good day because everything we ordered was amazing! We ordered the King Fish and took advantage of the BOGO offer - what a great deal! The portions for the SMALL bbq chicken/rice meal were surprisingly large. We were really impressed! Would order here again!

The food was very nasty and I cant believe they call this Jamaican food. The Cabbage and Saltfish was swimming in oil and there was no saltfish. The festival was burnt. The oxtail and whit rice was also nasty, the rice was clumpy and you can tell it was left over rice as well as the oxtail was only bones and gravy, you could also tell this was not fresh and days old. The callaloo dish was also very disappointing, the provisions were ONLY banana and there was literally a tablespoon of callaloo in the dish. I ordered this for a staff lunch and everyone including myself would never order the nasty food from sunrise. If you want good Jamaican food go to JAMAICA HOUSE!

Was looking forward to my order and was not impressed when I got it. A waste of money! Food tastes bad...Jerk Chicken-super dry, Curry Chicken runny and salty-and got a broken roti cell-, coleslaw was runny and hot, etcPlantain tasted like burnt oil- we couldn't eat it.Sad - I will never eat from here again.

Horrible!!!. Was there 12/11/22, the lady was not nice at all, barley spoke. Used the washroom, it was disgusting, but just got off the road and needed to use it. The dinners were a JOKE. Disgraceful for the price we paid. There is enough meat in all three dinners for one person. A formal complaint will be going to the head office.

Like mentioned by one of my family members on here, one food meal was missing. Festival and dumplin BURNT. me teeth nearly bruk off. plantain burnt. YUCKY. Do better.

This food is disgusting. It wasn't stew chicken despite purchasing stew chicken. It was clearly made by someone who knows nothing about caribbean food. It smelled old,tasted like jerk sauce was poured over chicken that was boiled and then labeled stew. The food had an after taste that was nasty. Never again. Stay away.

Do not order from any of these restaurants especially if it’s run by Jamaicans because they know nothing about our food and they are going to end up poisoning someone ackee is something they know nothing about. Eating from these restaurants you are taking a big risk

I just saw a tiktok about this restaurant... In this ECONOMY and day&age, social media can either make or break your business. Based on the comments under the tiktok video, it looks like everyone from the surrounding area knows better than to eat at Sunrise... not a good look. You may need to call Gordon Ramsey to fix this!!! **Remember why you started in the first place: to serve good food made with a pinch of LOVE :) ** Also, being kind and personable goes a very, very long way. Work on the customer service/experience if you can. Maybe even change the menu. Y'all must do something !!!

It’s always something when ordering from sunrise , they either rush or don’t care because something is always wrong or missing. I ordered bake and salt fish. They sent me just salt fish… what the hell am I supposed to eat it with .. nobody eats just salt fish, foolish and lazy staff need to pay more attention. It’s a small order how do u mess it up. Cuz now I’m getting my money back, and lost two customers.. eediat ting.
