The CK Public Library has done a great job over the years adapting their model to meet the needs of the community. They offer books, as most good libraries do, but they also feature a wide range of digital content, online tools, computer resources, Maker materials, rooms for public use, educational toys and tools for kids, and so much more.

*The variety of books for kids are okay. *A lot of really old books that they should get rid of. They should also buy more newer books that are relatable for kids nowadays.*Most staff are friendly and helpful.>>>The thing that REALLY bothers me about their system is that they tell you kids books are never overdue because they keep getting automatically renewed again and again. Well then they immediately start putting an outstanding balance on your library card if you don't return the books right away. They also send you threatening letters in the mail saying they will put you in bad credit if you don't return books or pay outstanding $ immediately. This all in the matter of 2-3 months of books being take out. I get they have a system to follow but why the threatening e-mails and letters? Why not just say you can't take out more book until books are returned or outstanding balance is paid??????These threatening letters in the mail cause people anxiety and need to STOP!I used to love taking my kids to the library when we lived out of town. Now it just seems too stressful in Chatham because as soon as a kids book is late or overdue I start getting anxiety to bring it back before I start getting harassed.Do better Chatham Library!

The staff is very good and helpful. Some services are free of cost. You can enjoy them. There is also cafe inside the library. You can enjoy audio and video content as well. There is also multiple language books are available that i find very good thing. Sections are available according to choice. You can also enjoy online reading as well.

The Library is always a great place to go. Tons of stuff to see and do. Lots of books on CD if you don't want to read. I LOVE the Library. I love cookbooks and they have a huge collection I have to work my way through. If you haven't been recently you need to go.

Great resource for the area. I stopped here on my way through town as I needed to print some work documents. Very friendly and helpful staff. In my half hour there, I saw staff help individuals navigate computers to find government resources, assist with identifying documents needed to replace birth certificates, and help with scanning and printing. Libraries continue to be the hearts of communities.

We love the library. We borrow puzzles, books, DVDs, story kits, outdoor play kits, magazines and get free seeds in the spring.

Great place, not only to find books. Especially for kids. The employees are the best.
