Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club

I like executive courses and I had the chance to try it today. The ravines are a bit nervewracking and I lost so many balls in those. I liked the restaurant and patio. It was spacious and clean. And did I mention I drove the power cart! It was clean, and the staff were courteous. I'm so glad I rented the power cart, because the hills are bad! I would def come back again.I didn't get to see Artie which was unfortunate :(

I had the pleasure of photographing weddings at this stunning venue. The high ceilings in all of the halls and ballrooms create an elegant and spacious atmosphere, and the huge windows allow for natural light to pour in, making for exceptional photo opportunities. The outdoor ceremony options and bride and groom session areas are also fantastic, providing an abundance of picturesque settings.The staff at this venue are very helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The quality and variety of the food is also outstanding.Overall, I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a memorable and exquisite wedding experience.

To say this place has gone downhill is a massive understatement. Rocks in every bunker on the course, tee boxes with little to no grass (#7 was shocking), and pace of play seems to be an after thought with a minimum 15minute wait on the par 4 15th. Its a real shame they have let this beautifully designed course with scenic views get to this point. The $120 green fee is no where near what its worth anymore.

Visited to play 18 holes on July 3. Course is in rough shape. Lots of burnt tee boxes, greens and fairways then standing water in other areas. By the 3rd hole I was wondering if they had broken sprinkler heads but nope carried throughout the course. We teed off at 10am during a warm sunny week where there had been precipitation. Green fee is way overpriced for the condition of the course. Beautiful scenery but I won't be back.

Pace of play is awful. Need to get marshals back out there. Okayed 5 hr round yesterday but were open for first 3 holes so we flew through those. Could be a great course. The bunkers are disastrous as all rocks but the layout and greens are good. Course is decent but whomever runs this place now needs to make some serious changes to improve the experience

Just come back play the course this year again but totally different experience due to the slow play. Our tee time was 3:30 that we should have way enough time to finish the round. However, We “finished” the round with almost 6 hr???!!! And no marshal was showing up? We barely not ended up the last hole until the day totally dark. Asked the front desk when finished and they just said it happened on hot golfing day and because of the course layout blablabla….looks like they literally don’t care about this and managing pace of play is not their job. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. Know the rate is fair at early May despite of the “rocky sand”, poor wayfinding system etc. I should’ve given one star because slow play is intolerable. But considering the staff was carrying bags for us when we arrived at the course, I still expect a way better improvement on this course with just little workload. This course should be a top notch in metro Vancouver but apparently not so far.

One of the most scenic courses in the lower mainland. Very unique layout, lots of fun holes and unbelievable geography. Would have rated 5 stars, but the bunkers are terrible. Lots of rocks, some were filled with weeds and only a handful were recently raked. Fine for a cheap course but I'd expect better at Westwood Plateau.

Honestly I loved this course. Compared to other local courses the price was competitive. The gps in the golf carts was a nice feature. Pace of play was a bit slow, but hey it’s a perfect summer day so if that’s your only complaint life is good!

First time at Westwood in quite a while and what a disappointment. The positives remain the scenery. With views of Mount Baker and the Fraser Valley and the mountain setting, the course shows extremely well. Unfortunately course maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. The sand traps are unplayable, not having been refilled with fresh sand and as a result, full of rocks. Some of the tee boxes were like sand boxes. Westwood has always had drainage issues, but on the par 3 12th, a quarter of the green was unplayable with no evidence of work to restore it. And I'm afraid that service was, at best, indifferent. Upon checking in, 3 cart jockeys were busy exploring their cell phones, not acknowledging guests until they were asked about cart assignments. And maybe I'm expecting too much for a $100 round but also no offers to help with loading bags. For $100 Westwood will get you great scenery. If it's great golf you're looking for, there are other better options for the same price.
