Companion Avenue

We had a wonderful experience with Gabrielle from Companion Avenue. She helped us tighten up our training for our two 6 year old mutts. With the arrival of our baby, they had started to become increasingly out of hand, especially when someone arrived at the home. Gabrielle, taught us how to click train effectively. Now when they see the clicker they get in line immediately. We highly recommend hiring Companion Avenue for your dog training needs!

We absolutely loved working with Companion Avenue! Lisa came to our home the week we reached out and helped us go from anxious new puppy parents to actually being excited about training! She really understood our concerns and helped us address them every step of the way. We were amazed with the growth we saw in our puppy in such a short amount of time. Not to mention that our puppy also loved Lisa as well!

Lisa from Companion Avenue was extremely helpful in helping our 1.5 year old doodle manage his big feelings. We worked with her in 5 sessions spread out over a few months and focused on core skills (clicker, touch, no big deal, treat reward area, find it, up and down) to work up to loose leash walking. We saw a huge improvement in Sully’s comfort level outside with all the noises of the street, and feel confident in the tools we have to continue training our pup on our own. I’ve had a great experience with Lisa at Companion Avenue. She is kind, knowledgeable, and explains everything in a way that makes the follow through very easy. My dog has responded incredibly well to the training and has made progress at what feels like an accelerated rate. I highly recommend Companion Avenue.

I received detailed notes on what Lisa went through during our training session. Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with. We recently adopted a reactive rescue dog. Lisa gave us the tools to help build his confidence which has made an enormous difference in his behaviour. Her passion for dogs & training is obvious. Scheduling sessions was easy and she came to our home. Can’t recommend Companion Avenue enough.

I’m very grateful to Datta. He is a very kind person; and a knowledgeable, loving and understanding trainer.My 10 months old Yorkie is very excitable and gets distracted very easily, and still, we have made great progress thanks to Datta’s help.I used to bring Maple for training to PetSmart but due to his hyperactivity and lack of focus he couldn’t learn a lot.Having Datta coming to our place was the best option; he could see how Maple behaved and what my challenges were.I am very grateful to him and Claire.Thank you Datta, we will miss you!!!

Companion Avenue is a excellent choice for starting your puppy out on the right paw. Lisa really helped us with teaching our new standard poodle puppy the essential puppy foundations for improving puppy behaviour such as nipping, impulse control and teaching her to focus on us. Lisa also helped us to improve our confidence with training our Molly. We feel we are off to a good start towards raising a well balanced dog. I highly recommend Companion Avenue for getting your puppy off to a good start and for getting help with any training challenges you may have.

Lisa from Companion Avenue was such a great help ! She gave us amazing tools and activities to do with our Rottweiler to help us make him feel more confident with his big feel feelings.
