Motel Chute des Pères

The hotel is dated, but room has been renovated except the bathroom. Bed was comfortable.Loved the balcony overlooking the river.The in house restaurant was excellent and reasonably price.

Located beside rapids, this quaint little place is very charming. The beds are comfortable and the people at the front desk are very nice. I just took a start off because you need to walk a lot to get to your room.In the hotel there is also a fancy restaurant with local delicacies.

Very nice motel, pet friendly (we came with our two dogs and it was allowed, only for a little extra). Large, comfortable and clean bedrooms with a complet service of meals (they have their own restaurant) and counting with a lot of privacy when you travel with pets. Lovely staff also, very recomendable!

Decent building in quiet location. It's a bit hard to get to on the snowmobile trail. Rooms are a bit cramped. The beds were terrible. Mattress was rock hard and very uncomfortable. I was hardly able to sleep at all, and my back and shoulders were killing me in the morning.

Very good restaurant here. Filet was a 10. Rooms comfortable and clean although a little dated.Although close to the snowmobile trail, signage is limited. Be prepared to use Google Maps to navigate side streets to the hotel. Gas on the trail too.

dated , it was clean but had a very loud heater / air unit definitely not worth the price will never be our first choice when visiting the area again

Ñice location, clean, modern enough, heated floor in a bath. Thé service in a restaurent is very very slow though. Go somewhere else if you are in a hurry. Took an hour before we got our breakfast.

We stayed for one night on a cycle trip around lac st Jean and this was by far the most disappointing place we stayed. Upon entering the room it was dark and dated. The Formica counter tops on the dresser and table were cracked and pealed. The washroom hasn’t been updated in years and the halls of the hotel are literally pitch black. Ordered the faux fillet for dinner and it was very fatty. Others steak’s looked ok, mine not so much. You would think they would offer a blueberry pie dessert in the midst of blueberry season?!?! Breakfast the next morning was a disaster as our group waited over an hour before any food was served - they had confirmed the night before the time of our breakfast … I get they may be short staffed but there was zero communication and reason for the delay at breakfast.On the plus side it is extremely conveniently located directly on the Velodoute des Bluets and the view of the falls and river are spectacular.Would I stay here again? Maybe. Some rooms seemed to be renovated, but certainly not mine!
