Welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and helpful personal. Good coffee and delicious bakery items. Highly recommended for coffee breaks and lunches. I felt good in that retro classic diner interior.

We had their breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a cheese/green onion biscuit. They nailed it on flavour and amount of food. Very filling without being stuffed. Coffee and London fog were great! Good community vibes too.

Cute little shop with old architecture. Tables available inside only. Locally owned. Food is fresh and delicious. $12 for a small wrap. Small town feel and decor. Right on the water street strip. Was busy with customers ordering for take-out. Inside seating less busy. Could be a bit cleaner inside...floors, windows and tea ceremony table. Otherwise a nice place to get freshly made good food.

The 50s rocket theme of the restaurant is really fun and gives it an informal and fun-loving atmosphere where there is a constant buzz about the place. It's always busy from what we saw and when we went for lunch, we were pleasantly surprised with the fun atmosphere and the great informal service. They have a neat way where you head to the back and grab a numbered card out of a toaster and wait until you are called to give your order.The food is all delicious and there is nothing that isn't just what you'd want to eat. The coffee and the cafe is good and they do things in a simple and honest way. I loved the iced tea which wasn't sweetened.Perfect spot to get a quick bite. Worth checking out for breakfast/lunch if you're in the area.

I had the pleasure of booking the third floor of the Rocket for my wedding. I loved the old St. John's rustic vibe that the building portrays. Exposed brick walls and pretty Edison lights. Planning this wedding from Ontario was much easier than expected as Sophie made everything so smooth for us. She was kind and helpful. The food here was delicious, full of flavor and plentiful! My guests are still talking about the food! I am so thankful we had our reception here and the staff were excellent!

The rocket sandwich was very tasty and the quinoa salad fresh. Great spot if you don't want to visit the many taverns on the street. You can see signal hill from here and it's tiny.

Cute resto with vintage decor. The staff is smiley and helpful. There's a good selection of pastries and sandwiches and warm food. I had the pulled pork turnover and it was ok. They used a lot of spices for their sauce so I wasn't taking it pretty well. Their coffee is supposed to be one of the best, but it can be a bit stronger.

Rocket Bakery Water Street
Popped in to grab a coffee and sweet with my partner today. The coffee was amazing, and so was the brownie that I got! I was extremely impressed with the price point of everything offered by Rocket Bakery. My partner got a London Fog and almond croissant which were both fantastic. The store front was clean and the staff were friendly. Definitely recommend!
