An overpriced hotel in the middle of nowhere. Status members are NOT appreciated. Always a different excuse. The worst customer service in a Marriott Hotel ever.This is our second stay, thought we give it another try. Biggest mistake ever! Dark rooms, cheap and run down finishes. Some newer motels are better.For those that think about booking the M Club as part of their stay be warned, you a pay a lot for basically nothing. Alcohol during cocktail hour is charged at a hefty fee. Most motels have a better continental breakfast. The quality of the food served is the lowest possible. If you address some of your concerns you get a standard answer. Marriott in general, and this one in particular are using the pandemic changes and cut backs, post-pandemic as an extra money making scheme.

Had a great stay last night! The room was spacious and modern. The beds are comfy! This Marriott is newer and in a dining/entertainment complex. We were able to checkin early. Note: you have to pay for parking and it’s not well insulated from a noise perspective (we brought a noise machine and had no issues though).

We booked this hotel as a central location in Markham so we could be decently close to a friend's wedding venue as well as other Markham attractions.The area around the hotel is under construction which made access a little harder, but otherwise, the area is good with many food/entertainment options within walking distance.We were allowed a super early check in, which we were so grateful for, and Marcie and Helen gave us a great low-down of food to try in the area, relative distances between points of interest and even a quick hotel tour.The hotel lobby smelled really good, and it had a good atmosphere, never too busy or too quiet.We had lounge access and pool access. The only complaint is that the pool is on the colder side, but that really isn't anything too significant, as they had a hot tub too!The rooms were spacious and well set up, but I think the biggest complaint is that the pillows in the room smelled really bad of body odor. Three out of the four pillows smelled like an old gym bag..... We just were out so much we forgot to request for new pillows.Aside from that, their service was fast and friendly, and the room even came with a nice pillow spray to help with sleep.We definitely would revisit this hotel if we're in the area again!

There's plenty space in the rooms, why not to add microwave?And wish they had better coffee in the room.Very spacious and nice rooms.Front desk staff is amazing and very helpful.Cleaning staff really friendly and polite.

This hotel needs to step it up. There was an ugly stain in the bedside sofa and when I brought up the issue to the management, they told me it would be cleaned when we went out for dinner. Instead of cleaning it properly, they placed a sheet over it. Really?

King Bedroom - Large Suite & Single King BedroomOverall we had a great stay. Very cozy and clean. Customer service was great and very helpful with all our request.The kids had lots of fun at the pool. Not the biggest but had little slides for them too. Pool also includes a hot tub.Very central to all our destinations. Will be back in the future!

I am a fan of the Marriott. They kept their property clean and modern, staff at the lounge are polite and always helpful. The food and drinks at the M Club are good and I love their freshly baked cookies. During early dinner, they offer snacks (salad , cheese, samoza, etc) and light dinner (baked chicken casserole, etc).

Positive check in experience. Over size parking is available near by. Rooms are modern, with frosted glass windows in the shower to allow natural light. Rooms do not have the best sound insulation. No handles on inside of shower door.

Booked the Royal Suite. The best room at this location.Not worth the price. Nothing to be excited about even if you get upgraded.Furnishings and decoration has coating of dust. (to be fair I dont mean everywhere) But if you look closely at some of the accent decor in the room you are pretty much breathing this in. Carpet decor is filthy. I moved a chair and the carpet was slightly moved, you can literally see piles of dust sitting underneath.24/7 Room service means they will bring things to you etc. If you use the Marriot Bonvoy app you can request everything in advance (extra towels, extra amenities etc.) which makes the 24/7 room service more of a gimmick than something actually useful. I ordered a late night meal at the front desk and they just pointed at some container items sitting in their fridge. Late night meals are not fresh. Its premade in a container sitting in the fridge. I wouldnt recommend ordering this. its a $15.00 dry sandwich. Fruits are not fresh either they were mushy. I did not feel comfortable trying the yogurt parfait because of the other food items listed above.No complimentary breakfast at this location which I thought was an industry standard for any hotel in this age. I dont usually eat breakfast so not really a big deal for me.Amenities are nice. Shampoo. Conditioner, Body gel and other small useful things.Service of the hotel was okay. They were as accommodating as they could be. There are some service standards I disagree with but that could just be me. Such as you should not offer a late checkout for a guest that is staying the night prior if the next guest is requesting an earlier check in. (I did not ask them to kickout the guest staying the night before, just consider the request of the next hotel guest... I even put a request for early check in a week prior.) Although I ended up leaving some of my luggage for the hotel to hold while I go about my itinerary for the day. It would be nice to have a place to wash up.Use exact change for the vending machines inside the hotel. They will steal your change. I am sure this just needs to be serviced. The front desk was nice enough to credit my final bill for the change lost.If I need to book another room in the future I would choose Marriot again. However I would only choose their basic room as their highest tier room" is far from anything special for this location. Its just extra space. You can book 2 rooms that can be connected for cheaper if you just need the space. I brought my partner for a celebration and although they might not be as picky about some of the things I mentioned above

most of staffs have changed, the quality of staffs is much lower than before... terrible response of handling problem, not taking responsibility of their terrible mistake, not polite of responding customers. software is disaster, hardware is fine.I have stayed over 10 times as their titanium member for years. they worth for 4.5 stars before but 0.5 star nowadays...good luck if you plan to stay there
