I have been patient with Dr. Safari for a few years. I came to fix my smile for my front teeth. The previous dentist had NOT been able to fix this challenge. Lack of spaces, missing teeth and orthodontic treatment. However, Er. Safari was able to fix the issue and limited my time with no orthodontic treatment. I am extremely happy. I enjoy my smile everyday now. It gives me happiness and confidence. I highly recommended Dr Safari and his team.

I had a crown tooth procedure done by Dr. Safari in 2022 and it went well.Also a couple of re-doing old fillings done by Dr. Derek Chen in 2022 - also went well.However I had an appointment on June 16, 2023 for a regular checkup - that I learnt it was going to be with a new dentist (Dr. Bahar Beigi) that I was not informed of, and I didn't even know her name until I asked (Are dental offices now rent out chairs like hair stylists?).She looked at my previous x-rays and examined my teeth and explained that she was going to fix one minor cavity.Unfortunately as soon as she administered Anesthetics, I had a seizure and was transferred to emergency at Mackenzie Health hospital by ambulance (that I learnt later).It's still under investigation by a neurologist and my family doctor to find out the root cause.But what is shocking is that after more than 1 week of the incident, no one from the dental office (either Dr. Safari or Dr. Beigi) has contacted me - as a minimum ethical gesture - to ask how I'm doing, or provide an explanation.However I'd like to thank Ms. Daniela Carbajal (Richmond Hill office supervisor) for accompanying me to the hospital and staying there until my husband arrived.This would have been my last visit to the Forestwood dentistry.I've also filed a formal complaint with the College of dentists.
