After researching the best GS breeders and trainers in Ontario we came across Lecescu Kennels. Renee and Craig are extremely knowledgable about the breed and took the time to meet with us and answer our questions thoroughly. After meeting with them and the puppies from the SS litter, we decided to bring Sherman home. He has a very calm temperament and is easy to train - we couldn’t be happier with our experience with Lecescu or our newest family member. Highly recommended.

My partner and I have attended training lessons with Renée and Craig for a year and a half now, with our first dog. We originally approached Renée for training support with our GSD and continued working with her and Craig in the sport of IGP because of her knowledge, passion and attention to detail. We have seen improvements in our boy's confidence, discipline and most of all, our relationship with him. Before going to Renée, we didn't recognize how essential having a strong relationship with your dog is to moving forward in any form of training or sport. Her training has taught us to be patient and observant of our dog's behaviour which is a refreshing contrast to a lot of cookie cutter approaches to dog training that are out there. We are first time GSD owners and got our puppy Annie from Renee. Due to our busy schedules and inexperience we opted to have our pup stay with Renee and Craig for an extra 8 weeks for some extra training before we took her home. Annie came home with us perfectly potty trained, crate trained, car trained and understanding basic commands very well.I cannot say enough about how positive our experience has been with Lucescu Kennels.Our Annie is a beautiful soul with a great temperament and fits in so well with our family and lifestyle. She has brought us so much joy.As very inexperienced dog owners we have made our fair share of mistakes and mis-steps raising our puppy but the additional training sessions we are taking with Renee are teaching US so much on how to raise a happy and well adjusted dog. I got my German Shepherd puppy from Renee and went through one of her obedience training programs. It is evident Renee is not only passionate about dogs, but is committed to restoring the breed to it's former glory. She has excellent lines and am excited to get another puppy from her sometime in the future.If you do train with her, expect yourself to be trained just as much (if not more so!) than the dog. More dog trainers need to follow her example.I recommended her wholeheartedly as a breeder and as a trainer.
