This place was recommended to me by a friend. I called Javid and get an appointment quickly, for help with my citizenship application. He helped me a lot, and explained all the questions and processes. He reviewed my application few times and made sure that everything is perfect.Free parking is available beside the building.

Action for Healthy Communities is an amazing Non profit Organization with great resources, classes, workshop and more for newcomers to Canada and Canadians as well!From English as a second language classes to Small business program classes (entrepreneurs), they are all about building healthy communities.The staff is very friendly and resourceful.Easy access facilities in its first floor, and bathroom.Parking infront of the building and back!

Great experience and very knowledgeable about the tax filing. Mina Kazimian was very helpful and kind.

I called in a few times as I was interested in volunteering for their free tax clinic. I was told that the volunteer coordinator lady is busy and asked me to leave a message which I did but no one returned my call, that was almost 2 months ago.

These guys do an incredible job helping new Canadians figure out their paperwork, get job training and look for work. They truly care about helping people do well with short term and long term programs and ideas that work.

My family had wonderful experiences with this organization! This place offer ESL courses for beginners ( level 1 to 3) and numerous interesting programs. I have been volunteering there for years and learned so many great things and meet lots of amazing people.

My experience with AHC thus far has been nothing but positive. I have been to a couple of organizations and this is my favourite. The staff are quite helpful and they offer a range of programs that effectively assist new immigrants to settle into the community.I am particularly impressed with their Entrepreneurship Support Program for existing and new businesses. Apart from providing adequate training and information to set up a business in Edmonton, I noticed that the people that constitute the program team actually do care about the progress of your business. They are thinking of your business and anticipating your needs. They stay in touch and keep providing resources to move the business forward. If you ever need to start a business in Edmonton, this is the program you need. I highly recommend!
