I've been taking our family's cars to Franco's since moving to Oakville 9 years ago. They are conscientious and fair in pricing. The owner takes personal pride in servicing vehicles properly. Gerry is probably one of the few old-school mechanics left in Oakville, capable of working on older cars, late model cars, and diesels. Very knowledgeable and highly recommended.

Jerry is the best,He always looks out for me and my family, and is always honest with us.Today he knew I was waiting for my new tire and rims to finally come in, I called ask told him I am working until 6 and that’s when he would close the shop. He said no problem, come by I’ll stay open for you. He was at the shop until 8PM for me, he truly cares about his customers.

Jerry Franco and the team at Franco's Automotive always have my safety and my family's safety in mind as their first priority.I called Jerry up a little while ago because the car seemed to be shuddering at highway speeds.It turns out the lug nuts and the rim were not fully compatible with my car as they had been taken off another similar vehicle I no longer had.On arriving at Jerry's the back tire had actually loosened off quite a bit due to the incompatible sizing. Jerry quickly saw the problem and within minutes of me dropping by for a quick check, he had sourced and received new lug nuts and rims, he quickly swapped out the rims and balanced the tires and I was safely on my way. What could have been a disaster was averted simply because Jerry cared enough to say, come by and I'll take a look"."

Jerry is the most honest technician I've ever encountered. I have a background in Automotive Service and can tell you that he knows his job extremely well. I trust him entirely. He looks after my entire family and friends automotive needs, he never disappoints. Jerry is unique because he doesn't just remove and reinstall new parts, Jerry will repair things that are repairable to save you money. These guys are awesome! Took a used car I was interested in purchasing here for an inspection, and I was very pleased with the thoroughness and efficiency. Would definitely recommend!

Worst auto shop I have ever seen. Yesterday I took a driving noise diagnostic in this shop. He took a 5 minutes test drive and gave me an “honest” suggestion “ to replace all tires, shocks and bearings” and then charged me 60 bucks diagnostic fee. This suggestion is completely nonsense which I can figure out by my heel. I’m lucky he didn’t ask me to replace my car. Thank you Jerry! If you run your business with this kind of “honest”, God will “bless” you.

I brought my car in to have Jerry give me his price for repairs based on an inspection and service quote I received from Canadian Tire. The price he gave me only slightly undercut Canadian Tire so I decided to take my car elsewhere for service.It was at this point he told me there would be a $120 diagnostic fee which I was not informed of beforehand. His justification was that “I gave him the keys” so he can charge me for a quote without informing me there is a cost. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because he eventually gave me my keys back without payment.My car was also returned with 2 wheel nuts missing.I had the service done at another shop for $1600 less than what Jerry quoted me (I paid $2000 total for brakes, suspension, alignment, and exhaust repairs).

Hands down the best mechanic in Oakville. Jerry is fast, attentive and honest, taking the time to explain and show what he is doing and why. I have referred family, friends and colleagues to Franco's Automotive and all have had wonderful experiences.
