We absolutely loved our wedding photos and working with Chris + Sam. From the very first email to getting our final photos back every interaction with them both was such a pleasure! They set aside time for us before the wedding to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, they made us feel confident and excited going into the day, and we had so much fun doing our couples portraits on the wedding day. The whole experience was perfect and I highly recommend them!

The general vibe and aesthetic they create in their photos is unique from most wedding photographers. They embrace that Pacific Northwest vibe while capturing intimate and candid moments. The best photographers in the business! We've had the pleasure of knowing them for the past three years due to pandemic delays, and they are truly the most kind, professional, and talented people. In preparation for our wedding day, their responsiveness and attention to detail was very much appreciated. They created a list of locations for wedding photos, with back-up plans in case of closures and weather. The grooms, wedding party, and guests all appreciated how organized, respectful, and easy-going the photographers were on the day of. They manage to make everybody feel comfortable while being directive and organized. The photos themselves turned out perfectly -- beyond our wildest expectations! Chris & Sam are PURE gold. Chris and Sam are a power duo!!! They produced beautiful images, I couldn’t have asked for better. Whatever I requested, they delivered. They created a very fun, light environment for my partner and I. Pictures can be a little awkward, but not with Sam and Chris. Are you looking for a kind, inclusive photographer duo? Look no further! We first found Chris and Sam on instagram and fell in love with their moody and authentic style. We booked an engagement shoot on a whim while on vacation from the states. They both went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera.We thought our wonderful experience with them ended after we bid goodbye to BC. After thinking for awhile, we figured we would ask if the duo would come to us to shoot our wedding in the states. 2 years of a pandemic and many emails later, we were able to pull it off and my gosh was it worth every penny.The day of, Chris and Sam, everyone’s favorite “fake” couple were out getting detail shots, fluffing trains, wrangling groomsmen and even saved the day with a hairdryer. The rain started right after the indoor ceremony but they improvised and still provided amazing shots. They even agreed to go down some dirt roads in a Jeep to take some more adventurous shots.In short, if you need a photographer, you need Isle+Oak. They were the first vendors we booked and we are so glad it worked out!

I can't say enough about Chris and Sam, they captured the most stunning photos of our wedding and engagement, better than we could have imagined. They showcased our moody vibe in the most classically beautiful way, our photos will be treasured forever. Run don't walk to hire them.
