DJ Fencing

I had to move my business at the last minute during Covid and phoned DJ Fencing in a panic ! They found the time to squeeze in my last minute job !They were on time , reliable , answered their phone when we called and their job was very professional ! I love my childproof gate latch they recommended! They are now my fence guys !!!!

I recently got my fence replaced with DJ Fencing. Not only am I incredibly happy with the black chain link fence, but I was overwhelmed by their customer service. I thought their initial quote was very fair and competitively priced. The owner and his sons are very pleasant, hard-working, and professional. My husband is ill, and they were very compassionate about our situation. I would gladly recommend this company to a friend and will be using them again!

I was very happy with DJ Fencing, the owner, Dave was quick to respond & nice to deal with. My job was done promptly, professionally and at a good price. What more can you ask for.

We had them install a deer fence on our property and had Art out to do the quote and Dave and his crew do the install .The quoting process went well and the crew showed up on the day they were expected but our install was scheduled for 2 days for digging holes and putting in posts and 2 days for installing fence wire and each process was done in a day each and seemed very rushed . Dave and his team were friendly enough although Dave’s lack of professionalism was apparent in email communication. What I can say about the work on our property was thank god my wife was at home at the time to stop Things from going awry . We had 2 posts installed in concrete crooked which I had to later fix myself and one post installed upside down , our upper gate was supposed to be built with pencil posts as per quote but ended up with 4 x 4 cedar posts that are far too high and the subsequent gate that was installed was far too high off the ground even after we clearly asked for it to be installed as close to the ground as possible as this is to keep our dogs in the yard {so I am having to redrill the posts myself and move the gate lower to the ground }which is the whole idea of a fence to begin with , a clearly marked property line was gone over with a post which caused a fight with our neighbour although they did remove it and move it as we asked . A very nice front gate was to be installed but it was clear after they installed the posts they were not right as the posts were so Un level there was a 6” difference in the height of each post and again the way they poured the concrete one side of the gate would’ve been 6” off the ground and the other would’ve been 12” so we decided to leave that to someone else and had them Remove the posts and not charge us for them admittedly the terrain for this gate is challenging but not impossible if the proper time was taken . We also had a whole roll of fencing wire that they were to use as per the quote but again thankfully my wife was home at the time as they weren’t even going to use it . My wife and I spent an enormous amount of time prepping the area for the fence to make sure all the ground was clear of all weeds trees rocks and ivy and level so the fence would sit firmly on the ground which certainly helped the final product . Now that everything is done the fence that stands looks pretty good and they did fix the mistakes they made or pulled out what we asked for but the gates were a total wash out . I’m not saying they don’t know what they’re doing just That they needed to spend more time making sure the finished product was done right and what we asked for and was quoted on

I had a good experience with Dave from DJ fencing. He was patient with me when I made some changes to the design, and was knowledgeable about fencing which made the design process easy. The materials were sourced from a local mill, and were of good quality. The workmanship was good, and he dealt with the challenge of integrating the fence into an existing retaining wall.

Waste of my time - came to do an estimate and then never heard back from them. It's been several weeks since, and another fencing contractor has already come in for an estimate and finished the job.

These guys were fantastic to deal with beginning to end. We are so happy with the end result. Thank you David, Art and the rest of the DJ team!
