Plaza Premium Lounge (Departures) Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG)

It's definitely one of the cleanest lounges I've seen. Its layout is very spacious. The glass walls help the space seem even larger. The staff here are extremely friendly.Good addition to the Winnipeg Airport.

The staff are friendly but not overly attentive.It could do with a good vacuum and clean up— dust and debris on the carpet. Frayed fabric on the chairs.Unfortunately, food options are poor at Winnipeg airport (except Green Carrot), therefore, I use the lounge for “okay” food options.The food in the lounge reminds me of the food I’d make in University when I was learning how to cook - frozen vegetables with butter and boxed pasta that could use more sauce. The chicken breast is generally always good, not dry (usually teriyaki or butter chicken flavour).The little dessert cakes are always good also.A few tweaks and this lounge could be better (I.e. 4/5)- maybe wraps or sandwiches at the salad bar, and more sauce on the pasta to start?Anyway, it still beats the 2/5 burger resto or the bar resto nearby.Note*: IMO quite limited if you have food allergies or are vegan.

People were very friendly.Food is decent with good variety.It's a nice place to sit in while you wait for your flight.I took pictures of the food so you can get a better look.I didn't notice many charging ports.It's not a very big lounge so it fills quickly .There is a limit to the amount of alcohol that is free. As I do not drink it's never been an issue, I just noticed a sign posted today.2 hour stay 4 alcoholic beverages.3 hour stay is 6 alcoholic beverages.One hour extension is $10. Looks like that includes 2 extra alcoholic beverages.Right now they moved the lattes to the bar. They still do not have decaf. I hope they rectify that in the future.

Very neat and clean lounge with plenty of food and beverage optionsP.S. For mastercard Holders, it's not available on loungekey, but it's available of dragonpass or mastercard travel pass

Excellent staff, especially on Christmas day!The food was great. Breakfast was standard scrambled eggs, hash and sausage. Lunch however was amazing, the steak bites were delicious.The setup was excellentA combination of small tables to work at, comfy chairs and individual seating nooks for reading. Ps. Get the craft brew beers on tap instead of Bud Light lol, limited selection but still great options!Will definitely stop in again

Very disappointing airport lounge. Definitely ranks near the bottom of my experiences at lounges over the years.Sat in lounge for over 2 hours and staff did not pick up dirty dishes etc. Service was minimal and without a smile or customer service skills. Food poor. Had to buy food and refreshments at shop outside of lounge.Can do better and not good for Winnipeg’s reputation.

Sadly the furniture is quite dirty and the lounge is under staffed, which made for dishes being left on many tables. The staff who were working were amazing. They were cheerful and had a good sense of humor.

Wow. This is the life. Fancy lunch, excuse me, lunches, they even have Ft Garry Dark on tap. My wife says there is only one scotch at the bar, but it is a good one. I've never bothered with the place, but for my 60th my daughter upgraded a trip to Ottawa for me and paid our entry to the lounge (she found some sort of a deal online)It is a nice space to wait. Chairs, power points for electronics, it's own wifi, unlimited buffet that changes every couple of hours, coffee, soft drinks. Expensive if you do it all the time, but if you are stuck waiting between flights it sure beats waiting at the gates or sitting in the Tim's

Grossly overpriced for next to nothing. This is not like a genuine airline lounge (I.e, the Maple Leaf Lounge.) There were very few food options available. The food options which did exist were cheap and greasy. The “lounge” does not have washrooms and is virtually identical to the regular passenger waiting area. The drinks are also not included in the price. Definitely save your money and go to one of the regular terminal restaurants instead.

Would love to give a huge shout out to Mina and Forest. After having a tough time in December at Root 98 at YWG, Forest made everything right and took care of my daughter and I at Plaza Premium Lounge. When we arrived at the lounge, Mina was above and beyond and made sure we were happy. These two are absolutely awesome and I am thankful we experienced their hospitality. Thank you again both Forest and Mina. Made our travel day experience that much more fun, relaxing, and enjoyable.
