Harrison River RV and Campground

Great hidden gem!! Only about 10-15 mins from Harrison Hot Springs. Super accommodating, Manager here is very helpful! Campground is older (as the best ones are!) And was obviously built before everyone had trailers with slides... so sites are a bit tight, but easy to get your trailer in and out. Sites are nice and level. Big green space behind the sites to hang out and and let the kids run and play. Good mix of permanent sites and nightly rentals, everyone is very friendly. No problems with mosquitos, only saw a couple at the usual evening feed time.

Had to cancel weeks in advance and would not return the deposit for me and my friends then removed the sign that said deposit returned with 24hr notice.

I unfortunately lived at this park for well over 2 years. The park itself is extremely dirty and the owners seem to be drunk 90 % of the time. The manager is there on her own agenda and when flood season comes all the staff disappeared and left their monthly tenants to fend for themselves. I would rate this campground at a 1 on a scale from 1 to 100

What a great place to start your vacation. After a long arrival day we've been greeted by lovely Elle. She was very sweet and explained us totally tired tourists everything.The view of the river is amazing and everything here is nice and cleaned up.We just stayed for one night since we are on a trip through BC and Alberta, but we can imagine this to be a great place to stay for several nights.

Wonderful place, I was a solo traveller tenting and el did the absolute best to ensure I was safe and enjoyed my stay. Being in a tent I could obviously hear everything clear as day and because of some external issues one of the rvs were running their generator through the night, el was super accommodating when charging me for that night. My second night she even provided me with an extension cord to charge all my belongings and let me borrow a book so I could do something throughout the night. The washrooms were very clean and showers had hot water. There was wifi at the office so if you sat out at the picnic tables you could access it! She showed a lot of concern for my well-being as a solo traveller which I appreciated immensely. Will definitely be going out of my way to come back to this campground when I’m back in the area!

Made a reservation and had to cancel after an hour of making it because of one my friend who was suppose to come had a family member passed away so I called back after same day to cancel and was told she would tell her boss to cancel on Friday ( 2 days later after making reservation ) that they will be keeping one day daily rate because it was exactly 2 weeks before our trip was..Would never book this site again. Acting as they were so busy that if I canceled, they can’t fill it back.. I’ve made many reservations and camped many sites around BC and AB, never once had this kind of issue..After hearing friends and family about this site, it’s poorly management and 2/10 cleanliness. Sites literally like a parking lot and unorganized. Took them 4 days to return my calls and end up keeping $78 including tax because they made me wait till exactly 2 weeks period to allow me to cancel when I wanted to cancel same day I made reservation literally an hour later and told me they will cancel on Friday marking it 2 weeks then telling me that since it’s 2 weeks before the trip, they will be keeping 1 daily rate for cancelation fee. Ridiculous place ever.Not family friendly at all

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We paid for a site for our RV trailer and a tent for 3 days, at first it was my fault because I didn't read the little tiny letters where it stated not refundable". Then I tried to pass this to someone else because we couldn't go

Easy to book. Office person was really friendly.The waterfront part looks nice, I was the row back from the water. Wish they would plant some trees in this area as it’s just a big open area, very bare.Was told waterfront views were not available but for the 2 nights I was there I could see least 3-4 spaces available (not a big deal, just would of been nice to have).Kids playground has seen better days. Super basic.Tons of bald eagles!

Stayed here for a weekend this summer, and I can confidently say we will be returning next season! The staff were absolutely amazing, sites are clean and will kept, neighbours are friendly, the waterfront spots provide incredible views, the dog had a blast, showers & bathroom facilities were clean and accessible -- the list goes on! No complaints what-so-ever -- if you are planning your next trip I 100% recommend you stay here!
