I frequently visit the pawn shops for a variety of things. I can honestly say the hawk shop is the most professional, clean and trustworthy pawn shop by far. Everyone is always polite, never pushy well knowledgeable about what they are selling and pretty fair on the pricing. Excellent pawn shop in my opinion.

Fantastic service that builds a relationship with their customers, especially in the jewelry department. Great music department. All staff is good except for one newer member that will rip you of for your goods. A younger man who is slow and rude. It’s too bad because it’s a Brest place otherwise.

Called to ask what I can get for selling ipads. They said they had to see them prior to as they can pay up to hundreds for older generations.Went in offered so little and told they have set proves by owners. Such a waste of time going there when they should have said amount on phone! Never again!!

Visit for Sunday June 23, 2019. Have visited numerous times before. Prices are reasonable and staff helpful. Great selection of tools, electronics, and jewelry. Typically purchase digital games for the kids.

I would like to thank Rick for staying open late on Friday August 20th. I originally purchased a ring for my girlfriend from the Hock Shop in Newmarket. It was sent to Barrie for sizing and soldering. I was called to say it was ready, she didn't want to wait till Saturday so we rushed up to Barrie during rush hour traffic. We arrived about 5 minutes after closing but Rick stuck around for me. Outstanding customer service. Thank you.

Fantastic service! Every worker was very accommodating and they allowed me to test the product out before I bought it!

Would be very careful bringing stereo equipment to this location. It took them 20 min to plug in a set of bookshelf speakers and then they said left one wasn’t working. Brought them home tested them, they worked fine. They said that about two different speakers I brought in, brought them to another location to sell both, they worked fine there too.

It was clean and organized and the guitar room was quite good.

They are pretty friendly, but it was not a great experience. They low-ball very hard on jewelry. Take your jewelry anywhere but here if you want a decent price. They sell watches, which they then declare are worthless. I bought two watches from them last year for $200. They wouldn't even make an offer on them today.So remember, if you are buying a watch there, get a low price because the other side of the store is going to say it's worth $0 if you try to sell it back. Zero. That's what watches are worth to them. The sticker in the jewelry department may say $200, but really, it's really worth $0 to them.They will put a sticker on something for $100 and then say it's worth nothing a year later. It's a pawn shop, so pretty standard. People pretend they are better than most. They aren't.I think they may be good if you want to sell broken DVDs and chewed up Barbi's and junk like that, but the market for nice things just isn't there, they'll be the first to admit it.
