Maple Laundromart

I moved to Ottawa almost 3 years ago and have tried a number of laundromats in the area. This one is my favourite, despite being further away than many others by my apartment.Their machines are top notch. They clean well and they're well maintained. They have different sizes for different sized loads and I can always find an unoccupied machine even during weekends. They have about 30 machines and 30 dryers.There's also plenty of space for folding your clothes.Their staff is lovely and they've given me some great washing tips over the years. They're very kind hearted and you can tell that they've developed lots of good relationships with their customers over the years.Finally, the laundromat is clean. In other laundromats I've rewashed things that dropped on the ground, but I don't really worry about that here.I've never used their wash and fold services so I can't really comment on that, but as far as self serve goes, they're great.

The best experience at a laundromat ever! We are moving from the US and are temporarily staying at a hotel with no laundry. The staff at Maple made us feel welcome and at home. I travel a lot and run into a lot of different types of people...I must say the staff here are the type of people you want to run into again. They were very helpful in exchanging American dollars into Canadian coins and giving us free soap pods and dryer sheets. The entire place was clean and well kept. The bathrooms were in excellent shape...that's saying a lot, being as it's a public restroom. The prices are more than fair and you will feel very welcome. Highly recommend! I don't give glowing reviews to everyone but I more than feel this was an excellent business to give one to!

I spilt milk over my queen-sized duvet this morning. My attempt to stuff it into my small washing machine failed miserably. Off I drove to Maple Laundromart. It's the closest from my house and I liked what I read in the reviews. It didn't disappoint. They had industrial size washing machines & dryers which were perfect for duvets & comforters. The service was very good. The attendant was so kind and helpful I was very impressed. I needed a lots of help with using the machines. She was very patient. The bathroom was very clean as advertised. There are enough comfortable chairs to sit and wait or Starbucks is just a stone's throw away. I recommend this place.

Been using laundromats for years, the most awkward experience ever. Having someone hover and follow me around telling me how much clothes to put in the washers, which washers I can and cannot use, based on what I was putting in them-having them watch and look that closely at my personal things was just unnerving-people know how to do laundry folks, and don't want to be pestered while doing it-good greif!The place was very clean and bright, but just not a good experience sadly.

Excellent service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me with the machines and gave advice on washers and dryers for my loads. Came to use the large machines (12$) to wash king size duvets. They have large, medium (8$) and regular machines and same for the dryers. If you have big stuff to wash this is the best way. Clean facilities. Spacious. Really great service. Starbucks and some shops in the mall.

New owners and their fantastic. It is so much nicer to go in there without being harassed about everything. Go figure every machine was working, lol. Used to be only half machines worked.

This is an amazing place for laundry. Staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. There is also free wifi here for customers, plus they sell laundry detergent and dryer sheets, in case you forgot those at home. The prices are fair and comparable to other laundromat locations in the city.

Had several floor mats (bathroom, front door, various sizes) that needed a good wash. Threw them into a medium washer. $6 and 35 minutes later they were bright and clean. I agree with what others have said. Clean, lots of space to fold, tv area with sofas to pass the time, different sizes of machines, friendly attendant. I would recommend this place.
