Rob Hickey Furniture Restoration

I just picked up my cedar chest that Rob was working on. I'm so excited to see what a beautiful job he did on it. He restored it better than new. It's gorgeous. I can't say enough about this gentleman. He's not only talented and very nice, he's also a Christian. That made me feel safe to leave one of my treasures with him. Thank you, Mr Hickey.

Rob refinished my exterior wood door. We live in a house built in 1931 which has a round top exterior wood door. The door is so beautiful I could never replace it. It was in bad shape and I didn't know how to fix it. I took it to Rob and he did an amazing job. The door is even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Rob is professional, so attentive to detail and really the only person I would take any piece of furniture. I could not be more pleased with the artistry and craftsmanship from this restoration shop. Mr. Hickey actually refurbished my antique table. It was in sorry shape after many years of family use and abuse but now it is absolutely gorgeous again. It was my grandmother's table and we spent many happy celebration around it over the years. Now my grandchildren will enjoy it thanks to Rob Hickey. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone wanting to restore an antique.

Great person. Extremely helpful and very honest about his product. I'm very pleased with the work he did recanning an vanity rocker thank you very much again!!! I highly reccomend him.

We brought an Cherry End Table to Rob and all's it needed was the top to be resurfaced . He way over charged us and when we got the table back , it has a lighter streak going down the middle of the table . He did not finish the stain job completely . I would never go back or recommend anyone to this so called God Fearing . More like beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.

I brought in a coffee table I had tried to clean an edge with Murphy's oil soap and then pledge which made it worse. He suggested steel wool which I did not want to try. He said to remove the scratches and any blemishes the table would need refinishing at a price of $500.00. I asked about just cleaning and maintaining and he lectured me on why that wouldn't remove the flaws and rambled on with useless information. Belatedly he said he had a product that using a capful would work for 4 tables and a chair. I tried it on a table I didn't care about and it left a white glaze on it and I used it on my coffee table and it did clean it up but it made it much darker. i am luck it didnt ruin it. This is his second 1 star review so I would stay away.

Rob did an amazing job on a pair of antique mahogany end tables we brought him. He took time to answer our questions, explained each step in the process, and we now have heirloom quality furniture that will be beautiful for years to come!

Top notch craftsmanship, Rob is super friendly , helpful and honest with you from the moment you walk in his shop. Will definitely bring more items to him. Thank you Mr. Hickey my husbands great grandfather's library table is absolutely stunning!
