Called to lodge a complaint about my building manager cutting my roof open and leaving it open and continuing to ignore the leak. They gave me the number of a health inspector" through Alberta Public Health and I ended up on a very uncomfortable phone call with my building manager who was very rude about me having the wrong number."

The lady on the phone was attentive and could understand the situation I was going through. However, there is not much could be done through the phone and they are trying to work out through each cases under the rules/law of landlord and tenancy act (idk)? They are trying to understand the situation from both sides and not be biased towards the individual that is talking to them on the phone. Nothing was solved at the end because I would have to go to the court if I want someone to further investigate my case. But she gave me few ideas and suggestions and I was open to them.

Zero protection and respect for renters unless you have money for a lawsuit.If you have 100 complaints about a company LOOK INTO IT. Don't wait until the tenant suffers mental and physical exhaustion

Everytime I call they have different stories same as my moms told me who’s a landlord & I always get the most rude workers ever ! So appalled by the disrespect in these workers voices & the lack of compassion for the people that are getting stiffed !!

Today I needed a few rental forms to complete I move in application. The staff are so friendly and there is a beautiful woman at the front desk who so helpful and kind. If you are ever stuck with any rental situation this is the place to come. The staff here are so friendly and very efficient. As a real estate broker I highly recommend this place to everyone. It's a great resource to have.

What do they protect you from? No rules regarding lease renewals not how much can be raised, nor the amount of notice given, you would think this is something that would have been established, but nope was just was told to find a new landlord, up and move less than 30 days before Christmas, all because my landlord won’t give me my notice when I have asked multiple times for the lease and it ends as of December 31

They are very straightforward. You don't always get the answer you're hoping for, but the advice I've been given has been absolutely phenomenal. Many people on here complaining that they didn't get the service they wanted need to know that they are just being given the legal information based on the act. It may not make you happy but it is what it is. At least you have all the information & can proceed making an informed decision. They put on an excellent course. Take it.

A lot of bad reviews on here and I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, I called twice (as a tenant) in the the last 10 mins and both Dennis and Carol did an amazing job of giving me clear and concise answer to all of my questions. They were also both extremely polite and took time to hear my issues fully before starting to give me some generic answer (a lot of reviews suggested such things were happening). All in all, a pleasant experience.

I just called and spoke with a female today at 12:57 and she was extremely rude and hostile to the point i said you are very hostile and im ending this phone call " and she replied all happy and chipper " alright then have a good day "She did not care at all and was very rude. I asked her for support of the city run service she is representing on a few matters and she literally told me to go talk to a lawyer
