This place is not only great for the bakery items, but the people are gems! I haven’t had Filipino bakery items before and these people took time to explain everything in their shop.A family run business. You will certainly feel at home. I bought a few items to eat on the clipper going home and I am sad as I can’t get more!Really tasty items good even several days after my trip. This place is new, but really tasty Filipino bites.I had an original ensaymada, une pandamayA, and pande ube. They were really good and I’m sad I only got a few items!If you’re visiting Victoria, this is a tasty one you can’t miss. Well worth it.

This bakery was close to where we were staying in Victoria. So good!! We went twice during our stay and tried many different items. Kids especially liked the cinnamon buns. Owners were super friendly. Highly recommend this bakery if in the area!

Beautiful little bake shop run by the sweetest family! Their treats are amazing and quite affordable, would highly recommend!

After having lunch with my dad, we headed towards Fan Tan Alley on Pandora to take a walk- as we got closer, we saw a sign with the name Friends and Family Bake: Spotting the Philippine flag at the shop window, I had to look!Despite being full from lunch, the aroma as I walked in, and the displays that I saw made my mouth water; I felt nostalgic, seeing a variety of purple-tinted baked goods that made me think of ube. I knew right then I wouldn't be able to resist in buying something.So I got a cheesy sweet ube bun, which was quite delicious! It may be a little sweet for some, but asking about which ones may have less sugar helped me pick up something for my mom. I definitely will have to come back and sample some more, so I can have a better assessment! For anybody that enjoys baked goods, you gotta try!Got the chance to chat with (I believe) the owner; they opened earlier this year, in February. A variety of unique, delicious breads and baked goods that were new to me. We tried quite a few and they were all great, I particularly loved the coconut/custard bread. Warm, friendly service in a landmark setting that you have to visit if you're in the area.

Absolutely wonderful little place with lovely staff. Me and my friend were walking around downtown Victoria and smelt a delightful smell and quite literally followed our noses and found Friends and Family bake. We got their cinnamon rolls that were so fluffy and moist and they were still warm! Please visit this location if you are in Victoria and you can! They have the best food!

I've been here a couple of times already. The selection isn't the largest, but some things change everyday! Everything I've tried has been delicious.The owner is super friendly too! Definitely worth a pop-in :)
