Le Pêle Mêle Pub - Agora
Came in for dinner, had wings and the beef burger, both excellent.The buns were fresh, the patty was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The fries were also tasty. The portion was excellent in size.Out of all the restaurants in the Agora, this one is the best so far in my opinion.Also, our waitress was super friendly5/5 would recommend.

Food is absolutely awful. They desperately need to hire a new chef. I have been twice with friends and both times all our dishes were terrible. Taste and presentation. Drinks are ok. Bartenders seem quite under qualified. Overall, decent patio to grab a beer or glass of wine and sit in the sun, but don’t waste your money on food or any of their cocktails.

Had high hopes. Went twice, both times it was pretty empty. Despite this, the staff were never around to see if you needed anything, took forever to order our meals, reheated and overdone fries, absolutely terrible “jerk” chicken…aka it was not jerk chicken at all. Has potential as it’s a beautiful location and atmosphere. Needs new management and staff.

Good choice of beers/cocktails. Lots of TVs. Just slightly missing that sports bar feel (the times I went they had random music but all the tvs had a hockey game on. Let me hear the game and feel it!)

Decent place. It's very wide open so it gets loud, to the point you can't talk to the person you are with. I would recommend some type of sound baffles from the ceiling or between sections in the restaurant.

Had dinner at Pêle Mêle at Agora in Plateau in Hull. The food was great and the waitress was amazing and very attentive to details, the service was quick even though the restaurant was busy. (Thank you Lea for the service).

We went in for dinner with a party of 6. We were given a nice table in a nice quiet area of the restaurant. This was great. Everyone really enjoyed the service of the staff and the food. Especially me. I couldn't decide between the Mac&Cheese, Pepperoni Pizza and the chicken fingers. I said to the waitress If you're okay with it

Had a dinner at 530, sat in the bar area, it was packed after 730, seems lively and popular. Large greek salad was well balanced. The Agora area as a whole seems typical of a suburban hub. Food was typical of a sports bar menu. Service was polite, but not bilingual, so my french partner was mostly spoken to for the duration of the meal. Pleasant experience, nothing overly original. Would do in a pinch.

The food was great… the service on the other hand. We went Monday evening and there was two tables including us. The other table was our servers friends which is ok, but when you have other clients (only us) let’s make sure we check in. We were going to have desert and coffee before leaving but waited 15 minutes as the server had some shots with her friends and stayed to talk to them as we waited… it’s the first time I’ve experienced service this bad. After 20 minutes, we had to get up and just go pay as she wasn’t even coming back.
