Buyer Beware: Gene's 24/7 Mobile Notary charged $250 cash for one Notary session, for notarizing 3 signatures. The State of NY guidelines allow a $2 charge (maximum) for each document, so my charge should have been $6. I will be having conversations with the State of NY Notary Licensing authorities soon.If you are considering Notary services, please review the maximum charges that a Notary is allowed in your state.(New York is $2 per notarized signature). NYers can Google this: notary-public-license-law_01.2023 (pg. 10 section 136 Notarial Fees")My mistake is that I did not confirm what he would charge me until moments before the meeting. Not quoting a fee until it's too late is the perfect "pricing strategy". He took 2 phone calls during my signing session and I knew I screwed up as I listened to Gene tell his callers "I can't quote a fee until I see the documents". This is how clients show up to the meeting without knowing the fees they will be charged.In summary

Eugene is terrific. We called him on a Friday afternoon to have something notarized while we had friends over that evening to be witnesses. He made the time work, showed up on time and was really fun to spend a bit of our evening with!! He is also very professional and walked us through the documents we were signing. Excellent experience!
