I called Ian with a question for our malfunctioning central vac. After some troubleshooting over the phone, I was able to fix the issue. His help was very much appreciated!

I was happy with this business until recently...A few years ago we had our central vac hose repaired, bought accessories and were very happy with the service. Decided that this was going to be our go to place for all of our vacuum needs. This year our 25 year old motor failed on our central vac. Having done some research online, the average price for the motor was $125, however I decided to give my go to" place a call and see if i could get the motor from them. I told myself that if it cost a little more money I would go ahead and buy it to support local business. To my dismay i was quoted a very disappointing price of $450 and I was told I was better off buying a central vac unit for $600 instead. A that moment I decided to go ahead and order the OEM motor online and replace it myself.Response to the owner:I did mention that I had a 1200 series model but I also did specify the number stamped on the motor which was 6565-00. This motor is a LAMB Motor 3

I've now brought my sewing machine and vacuum to them and will never go anywhere else! They are fast, excellent at communication, knowledgeable and very personable! Plus they have a shop dog 10/10

I had my Kenmore sewing machine serviced there several years ago, plus they ordered in some extra feet for it. I was very pleased with the service and the staff. I will be bringing my machine back soon for servicing again.

Central vac hose was breaking down (frayed cord, broken handle, item jammed in the hose) therefore I needed a new one. I did some research on prices, brands, parts, etc.....decided to try a local business because every part of the central vac I have is a different brand so I was concerned about compatibility. Was helped by Ian the owner. I chose to purchase a new 35ft hose and hose sleeve plus he altered my power head to be compatible with the hose. The hose and sleeve were a very reasonable price plus I knew everything would work once I returned home unlike if I had purchased online. No issues with communication, the service he would provide nor the outcome I was looking for. Simple, efficient and fast. Thanks kindly Ian.

the power button on my central vac unit wasn't working properly, I sent a picture to Kanata Vacuum of the part I was looking for, I was able to pick up the same week. Pricing was reasonable, service was friendly! Thank you Ian!

My vacuum hose was blocked and I was unable to unblock it. I brought it to Kanata Vacuum and Mike was able to unblock my vacuum hose and he did not charge me for the work. I was very impressed I would highly recommend Kanata Vacuum & Sewing Centre

Ian came over to pick up our 3 vacuums and had all 3 serviced and delivered the following day. Service with a smile and his fees didn't break the bank. I'll use them again & highly, highly, recommend them. Thanks gentlemen for your 5 star service.
