What's the point of making an appointment when the backlog is as long as the estimated walk-in time? Currently 50+ minutes behind schedule and the walk-in estimate is 67 minutes. Took 25 minutes in line just to check in for my appointment (which made me technically 20 minutes late)... Which I guess doesn't matter at all since someone who had an appointment a FULL HOUR ago is STILL waiting, and there are four more people between us in line.Offer fewer appointments if that's what you need to keep things moving on time, for god's sake.

It’s really too bad that the good people in this profession (like amazing Edna) get overshadowed by the negative discriminatory practises of some of the other employees.Today I was outright discriminated against.I felt nauseous after giving blood, there was a washroom behind me, because I was wearing casual clothes (as I don’t believe I need to be dressed to the nines to give blood) I was prejudiced, and told that I could go all the way down to the end of the hallway to use the washroom.I know full well Lifelabs allows people giving blood to use their facilities because i have used them previously and they certainly don’t want vomit on the floor.It’s too bad that this person’s inability to be empathetic provided such a negative experience. It’s reckless and selfish that she chose a profession requiring high paced work ethic, compassion and a desire to help people.It’s evident that this individual possess none of these abilities, I understand the need to get earn an income but please don’t choose a profession where your unsuited and your judgement clouds your ability to be effective.Remember, it’s highly likely that you were going to be dealing with some of the most vulnerable and that requires empathy and understanding.

I’ve never had a more awful experience in a health care centre. The Filipino lady working the middle reception desk on Feb 17 was awful. She kept cutting me off rudely and telling me to sit down. She was relatively nice to others, answering questions, saying please but with me she was awful and rude. When I re-entered the line to ask a question, she processed the 5 people infront of me without issue and then stopped when it was my turn. Rudely ignored me to the point someone else came out to help me while she sat there. I dont know why- all that was different about me was my race.

Surprisingly friendly staff (this is LifeLabs after all). Weekday mornings are extremely quiet. I was able to drop a urine sample in 10 mins.

This is one of the best LifeLab Medical Laboratory in Vancouver. Staffs are well organized & efficient compared to other locatins.

I was at this location at 6:30 am on a Friday before going to work (was by the building entrance, waiting on the street) and nobody was there (the building was closed). I went to grab a coffee and came back at 6:50 am (and 4 people were ahead of me, we were all walk-ins).After we were all checked in around 7:05 am, the people with appointment showed up and the wait time increased (~ 140 mins).It is an extremely busy location with only 2 staff running it on that day (they were short staffed), but the place was clean and organized.The staff were experienced and professional.My blood work was done by 7:30 am.So make sure to be there as early as possible - if you don’t have an appointment.

Super sweet staff, especially the person at the front desk and the person who assisted me. Great new online system for waiting. Love that they accept emailed requisitions.

The best way to get labs done is to get the app. You can easily search the surrounding area to find a location that isn’t as busy and can check in and hold your place before you arrive.There are two checkin counters here and they are separated by a barrier. Only two chairs are available for people that want to sit. I was in and out in under 15 minutes.

They don’t know when they have diabetic patient they have to care more,and one of men working there is so rude and unprofessional!Otherwise laddies are good!

If you decide to go in as a walk-in: don't bother. Was waiting from 11:30 until 1 and wasn't seen to.Very poor customer service really. I felt more sorry for the lady in front of me who couldn't make an online booking.
