Beautiful and peaceful setting. Right in an alcove on the ocean. Feels like you're the only one there. The house is so well decorated and stocked with all the essentials. Love the windows

Clean and very comfortable. The location is super nice and the windows overlooking the ocean is perfect! Comfortable bed, open living area, we love it!

I stayed here for two nights in October 2018 and the view out the window was amazing. If you're visiting Fogo Island, I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot.

Amazing view but just a few cheap fans inside make it very uncomfortable to sleep or lounge inside when the weather gets hot. It desperately could use some AC or overhead fans to move some air around.

Stayed in Greenspond and Merritt's Harbour. Cannot put into words how amazing both of these places were. The amenities were perfect - supplying guests with absolutely everything they need. Check in was a breeze. The views were absolutely spectacular. Cannot recommend The Old Salt Box Co more. You're a fool if you don't stay at one of their homes!

We stayed at Grandma Lilly's and Aunt Christi's and LOVED both. Both homes had everything we could possibly want or need but most importantly to me, the beds were fantastic; super comfortable.We are already planning our next trip and will definitely stay in Old Salt Box Co. properties.
