Ordered the clam broth clear ramen and shoyu base. The soup was flavoured and not heavy like tonkotsu ramen. (I prefer tonkotsu ramen in winter but it’s a good choice with the seafood broth in summer). The noodles were cooked perfectly to my taste, tangly. - Washroom is in the basement, steep stairs.

I’ve been to Konjiki numerous times before, but wanted to try this location in particular because they offer a special menu dedicated to tempura. After trying, I have to say this location has to be the worst out of all the Konjiki chains. Upon entering there is a sickly oil smell, I’m guessing from lack of ventilation from deep frying. Food was underwhelming, but I am shocked at how terrible the service was. There was only three tables and three servers were struggling to serve all of us. When we got our food, we didn’t get any cutlery. After waiting a bit, we asked a server for cutlery to which she rolled her eyes at us as if we were inconveniencing her. Very surprising as Konjiki holds themselves to a high standard.Avoid this location and go the extra mile to the Yorkdale or North York location instead.

I came here for lunch on a holiday and waited about half hour for a seat. We tried the signature clam intense shoyu ramen and the Asakusa tendon bowl.We really enjoyed the ramen which had a nice complex but well rounded broth. the porcini sauce and black truffle sauce didn't over power the dish which was lovely. The Asakusa tendon bowl was less impressive. it comes with 2 prawns, 3 seafood (salmon, Herring roe and eel) and 3 vegetables. The tempura was rather unremarkable, it wasn't particularly light, and the default serving of it with sauce drizzled over didn't have any standout flavours so I recommend asking for more sauce. I didn't find the dish quite hot enough and rice was slightly overcooked. The piece of eel was also small, not at all like the larger pieces of tempura eel you'd find at tempura restaurants in Vancouver. They also served this way before the rest of the ramen orders arrived so I wish they had the foresight to time things accordingly so our table could eat their dishes together at once.Overall, tempura bowl is only 3* but the ramen is good and I'd say it balances out to a 3.5*. I might come back to try their other ramen. location is not wheelchair accessible.

Must say one of the best ramen we've ever had in a long time. Ordered Original Shoyu and Smoky Black ramen. Superb ramen broth. Really a must try.

I had the vegetarian ramen. At first I was a little apprehensive to try it and was thinking of going elsewhere as the recipe seemed different with the avocado and arugula. However, this was one of the best vegetarian ramens I’ve ever tried. This is no joke. The broth is super creamy and the flavours of the acorn squash, arugula and corn add this amazing combination that makes your taste buds explode. The noodles are also so fresh and there is just the right amount in the bowl. Prices are very reasonable too! I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn’t too busy at all, although the restaurant is on the smaller side. Highly recommend!

First time visiting this ramen branch and the experience is pretty good. The dinning room is quite compact, serving time is above average as they have adequate staffs and they are all very friendly and helpful. We tried out 2 different ramen and a beef don and they are all very tasty. Recommended!

FOOD: we walked out being super full and satisfied.• Seafood Kakiage Tempura Udon Set (add on Sous-vide Pork Chashu): one of the best tempura udon I have tried. The tempura shrimps are really big, broth is clear and light, noodles were cooked to perfection.• Asakusa Tendon: a large bowl full of tempura that you have to dig in down to the bottom to find rice.VIBE: Small little ramen shop and the line up is INSANE. Reservation not excepted and we wait about 45min to get a table for 2. The restaurant is quite loud and noisy, people have to scream at each other.SERVICE: decent service, food doesn't take too long to be served.

If you don't have an allergy to clam, you should try this CLAM SHIO RAMEN asap.Easily the best ramen broth I had in Toronto and I understand why they said this combination of clam, chicken and pork broth was FULL BODIED" just like full bodied wine!Their noodles game was strong as well. Both ramen & cold udon noodles very bouncy and cooked well!Only thing I did not care much was their tempura
