Penguin Resort

We spent one night at the Penguin Resort and we absolutely loved it! The owners, Ken and Irene, were warm and incredibly generous. We were allowed to check in several hours before 4 PM, basically as soon as the cabin was clean and ready. And since we stayed on a Saturday night and there were no new guests the next day, they allowed us to stay till Sunday supper time! This made our visit to Falcon Lake and West Hawk Lake so much more enjoyable as we didn't have to check out in the morning. The cabin was lovely and cozy with an electric fireplace, two bedrooms, a nice little kitchen and bathroom. Ken and Irene were very attentive, great hosts, and we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying there next time we visit.

My wife and I rented a cabin for the weekend and we had a great time. Dog friendly! Which was very important to us. The cabins are well maintained, and very clean. Well stocked, with everything you need. Stove, microwave, fridge, AC, TV with DVD, And BBQ. The owners, Irene and Ken are two of the nicest people we have ever met. They are very helpful if you need advice on things to do. They also have a HUGE collection of DVDs. The beach is walking distance from the cabins. Lots of great trails. We highly recommend checking the Penguin Resort out, especially if you are looking for a dog friendly cabin!

Penguin resort is the best place I have ever stayed. My wife and I think only of this place when we plan to travel to the white shell. The owners are so amazing and caring. Thank you for everything and being such amazing people for the situation I and my wife were going through. If you plan on staying in the falcon or west hawk area you best be looking into penguin resort, you won’t regret it. I will be back for round 3 and many more.

It was our first time here and have to say that the owners are super friendly and hospitable. They went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Cabins are very clean and have a nice rustic feel to them. Will highly recommend this place to others!! Thanks again so much.

Great little vacation spot! Ken & Irene are amazing hosts

Spotlessly clean. Adorable log cabins. Sandy beach and great hiking nearby. Owners Ken and Irene are lovely people. Took me on a ride on their golf cart to get cool campfire cooking gear when I meantioned I had brought corn to cook in the coals. Definitely coming back!
