Daddio's Family Restaurant
Great food, pricing is reasonable, and they do have specials.. Get here early or they may run out of the daily special! I didn't get a chance to try it, but I will be back!The restaurant is relaxed, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall I give this restaurant 4.1 out of 5 stars, seating area as well as pricing and service included. 5 out of 5 stars on the taste of the meal. The food was hot and delicious. I got the red pepper soup and it was definitely a great choice, it wasn't too spicy and had a lot of flavor. The steak sandwich was done exactly the way I like it at medium rare, and it was a nice steak, tender and easy to eat. The garlic bread which steak was layed upon was fresh bread and a mild garlic which complimented the steak. Very delicious meal!My colleague had the pulled pork and same pepper soup, who commented the pork was salty, but I tried it and it was very delicious, not too salty for me, and I'm not a salt fan, but I do like spice.I asked about the Christmas tree in the middle and there was a very interesting story behind what is in the box below it! Make sure to ask about it when you visit!

I'm not really sure how to review this. Food was amazing. Downside is when we first went in my son ate a pack of sugar and the waitress came and took the entire dispenser away. Some people have low blood sugar and other medical conditions and can't always wait for the food. I found that quite appalling actually to the point we almost left. I've never seen that ever happen and can't even express it. I asked another waitress about it and she didn't have much of a reason other than she would bring it back if we wanted. Thankfully this waitress continued serving us because we weren't too happy with the other one.Food was good. Portion sizes were good. Price was decent.Kids menu was odd. Not sure what it states root beer wasn't an included option in the price. See picture for how it reads. ? Don't have root beer or root beer has caffeine and they are trying to parent for parents? Also $1. Up charge to add cheese to burger was odd.For being a family place we didn't feel overly welcomed when they take condiments away that is in every table and up charge for a cheese burger. I get making it cost a bit more but $1 is a bit much.Overall restaurant and bathrooms were clean and food was cooked well and warm. Second waitress did a fine job. Could have went without the first reaching over the table and grabbing the sugar packets away. A few pennies in sugar cost us a food experience. We went in because of the good reviews. We are not local and we're travelling from a month long road trip. If I could I would give 3.5 stars but that's not an option. Food was easily 4.5

A hot tea and a steaming bowl of delicious borscht was a great way to warm up from a chilly night wild camping near Prince George!The wait staff were excellent!

OMG..This restaurant was amazing. Greeted with a gigantic smile from Jamie..What a wonderful personality. Food was delicious and Rachel ensured we try the cheesecake even after I was stuffed. I ate the entire piece and it had to be the best cheesecake I ever had. Thank you Rachel for the wonderful hospitality and conversation..A++

the food was delicious and the dessert was even better, the house dressing was an incredible balsamic dressing that didn't go too heavily on the balsamic vinegar. definitely recommend and i can't wait to go back

New waitress was really friendly, attentive and tried to be accommodating. Unfortunately she made a mistake with the order and only explained as the food was laid in front of us. We said we would make it work and then asked for one slice of multigrain bread to make up for the wrap that couldn’t be eaten due to dietary restrictions. Two slices of toast and tzatziki were brought out and then this was added to our bill. When disputed, the other lady there was quite rude about it, argued with me about it and begrudgingly took it off our bill. Such a shame as we would have given a five star rating had this not left a bitter taste in our mouths.

I came here on a date with my lovely gf and had such a great experience with staff. They seated us immediately and brought us our menu quickly and were very nice. We ordered and the food came out not too slow and fast for good food, food was so amazing but our waitress Jaime definitely sealed the deal with how great she was. Coming to check up on us and crack jokes and even saw me taking a picture of my gf and offered to take our picture together. Just moved here recently and has made me a long time customer already Jaime deserves a raise !

This Restaurant is an amazing place to eat, The food was amazing the service was just as amazing, Great prices for the amount of food you get and the Cheese cake..... If your to full take a piece home you will not regret it.
