The entire medical team is kind and caring, very compassionate and not at all judgemental. And those wonderful techs in the lab!! Love them.On the other hand, the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. It seems to be new staff almost every visit which doesn’t need to be a problem, howeverrrrr It is as if they do not communicate with one another. They are not at all versed in compassionate care, they seem to be completely unaware of anything regarding medical leave, poverty, mental wellness (beyond the checksheet they have to use in case you mention mental health), medical notes and their requirements, etc etc etc. They have argued with me about every note that comes with a price tag (22$). The whole paying for notes while on medical leave is pretty weird but to hold them hostage as though benefits don’t hinge on them… pretty terrible. Understanding the systems and how their office fits in is important. It’s truly disappointing and pretty upsetting to need to qualify your personal situations to anyone other than your doctor. I sincerely hope it improves, it’s really a bummer to feel like I want to or need to avoid my medical care because it’s so upsetting to get to.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Gebara today and she was empathetic, efficient, and knowledgeable. I’m grateful to have such a friendly and accessible clinic in the neighbourhood.

Bad experience. Went in for a check-up. Gave my sample, asked the nurse if it was good to go, she said yes. I waited two weeks for my results until I came in and asked myself in person - turns out they NEVER performed the test. And they NEVER called me to notify me about it. I was waiting for test results that was never performed to begin with. What kind of a healthcare is that when a patient comes in, gives a sample and they simply don’t do the test. I understand mistakes happen but they didn’t even give me a call to let me know that I should I come back and redo the test. Very irresponsible and disappointing.

NOT A WALK IN CLINIC. The website says it is walk-in and they even have advertisement on the building windows that say it is a walk-in clinic but they are not. When I went in at 5:00 PM there was no one at reception and stood there for 20 min waiting to talk to someone. When the receptionist finally showed up she said they only do walk-ins on Thursday, which should have been fine since it is Thursday but no. She then informed me that the clinic was closing. Google says they don't close until 8. They need to update their clinic hours appropriately as well as figure out whether they are a walk in clinic or not.

I attended this clinic for an urgent matter with a friend. We have never seen such discriminatory practices in a professional setting.Kayla Walderman has her own agenda and makes frivolous referrals to her friends for their own financial benefit and professional advancement. Kayla Walderman only wants to exploit the citizens of Toronto. She is the worst Doctor" we have seen in four decades. She has her own agenda and this includes the exploitation and abuse of the system and civilians.Share this story and protect your community. It has been happening since forever and its not okay! Report her and her clinic/staff to The CPSO. She must lose her license immediately. Keep in mind that The CPSO only protects their own

I was a patient when this clinic first opened, and it was a genuinely great experience. Since then, I have managed my health care relatively well and only required a few checkups throughout the pandemic (virtually).Today, i booked a walk-in appointment and saw one of the new doctors. I am on HRT and have been for 2 years and needed them to fix a prescription from another doctor as they prescribed the wrong medication. They refused to even listen to me and kept asking if I was anxious (I was fidgeting because I had thrown out my back and they knew this). They used the wrong pronouns for me and kept saying that they were VERY EXPERIENCED WORKING WITH TRANS PEOPLE" but that they couldn't help me and there was nothing they could do. It was weird how hard they were virtue signaling but throwing their hands in the air at the same time.Didn't offer to rebook for a longer appointment

Love Dr. Walderman... the individuals working at the reception desk however... need some better communication and customer service skills. I cancelled my appointment, and then they emailed me a day later stating I was a no show" and made me feel bad for missing my appointment. Additionally

Always had a negative experience at my previous doctor, finally decided to make a switch and Dr. Walderman was so kind and knowledgeable, took the time to listen to my concerns and questions. Made the experience really easy and I've always been terrified of being at the doctor. Everyone who worked there is phenomenal and so sweet, overall an easy, fast and good experience!

My doctor, Kayla Walderman, has been more than understanding of my situation, given that I abruptly moved out of town during the brunt of the pandemic. She has been nothing but helpful. And I’m not sure if it’s because of the healthcare cuts that have taken place over the last few years, but, like many others on this page, I have had nothing but absolutely terrible experiences with the front desk staff. To a one, they don’t seem to let you talk or explain your question — they talk over you, interrupt you and seem to give conflicting information.I take daily medication (HRT, have for years) and recently called them to clarify why I had been sent an email that I needed to book an an appointment to get a refill, when the bottle said I had one more refill to go. In my mind, if I had zero refills left, okay — but I should have been able to get one more run.I spoke to two people, and each didn’t slow down to let me explain my question, then misunderstood and gave me an answer I wasn’t looking for, and neither would they pass a message on to my doctor. I live 2.5 hours away now by transit; there’s an 18 month waiting list for a doctor where I am now.I ended up paying $25 to get that scrip filled. It’s ridiculous. And I’m sure it was not the front desk’s fault; they were just following policy. But if they had only listened and talked with me, rather than raising their voices and interrupting me. I’m all for allowing people their bad days but it was just so incompetent. And rude.
