2001 Audio Video

My issue isn’t really with Kitchener location but head office who won’t reply to them or me. I need someone to contact concerning a warranty issue. TV is not working when I called the store they said that warranty was out. However I had a bonus warranty. They just need to confirm email subscription. However they can’t verify it with me. I call HO and their message says 48 business hour call back time. I just need to know if I have the warranty before I spend more money.Update: Shawn the store manager has taken this over. We have spoke a few times.Further update: the company offered me a $350 store credit on a $700 tv. Just to make me spend the difference.

I recently had to make an extended warranty claim with 2001 Audio Video. The process couldn't have been smoother. After contacting the London store where I had purchased the TV, I was advised to speak with Shawn at the King Street East store. After a couple of phone calls and emails, it was deemed unrepairableand that I would be getting a replacement.Shawn was great to deal with. He was knowledgeable about the products, explaining the nuances of each potential choice. Thanks again for a hassle-free experience!!

BEST AUDIO / VIDEO STAFF IN KW!!Been coming to 2001 for over a decade (at Cambridge store too back in the day)The staff are more knowledgeable than any chain electronic store AND willing to listen to their customers fully in order to understand their needs. I picked Sean @ Kitchener stores mind a bunch this past week and a half regarding upgrading my families TV, a 12 year old Samsung Series 7 (still working great hehe). Answered my million questions and left me feeling fully capable of making a solid, informed decision. With this I was able to get the exact TV that ticked the box for features I wanted and avoid overspending.I couldn't figure out how to sync the remote to the TV (pretttttttty tired today lol), called up 2001 and they took the time to walk me through setup. We are remodeling our home and wanted to put our wired surround sound system in the basement. We decided that a good sound bar to go with our Denon amp would be enough for our main floor listening and viewing on a daily basis. We called 2001 Audio and spoke with Sean. He listened to our needs and answered all of our questions. By the time we stopped in later that day he had already chosen the right sound bar of us. It was also a Denon. It was mid priced and was exactly what we needed. He explained the other makes and models and discussed price differences and features. We went with his recommendation. His easy nature and friendly disposition was great. When ever we want to buy any kind of audio and visual electronics we always go to 2001 Audio. You can always count on great service and lots of good information.

The guys and pricing here is 10 stars. BUT finding this place via google search gives it a 4 star. I’ve been looking for Klipsch speakers and deals for awhile and not once did 2001 audio come up. I just happened to be in the area of the business looking for a restaurant and looked at the map and saw them. Went to their site and saw they carried Klipsch. Very happy with instore experience. Wish they also carried more Center speakers in house. Very happy with my purchase and certainly will visit them again for next purchase.

Our TV died and we needed it replaced immediately. I had tested positive for covid the day before and therefore couldn't go into a store to talk to anyone, so I called Best Buy. I hadn't purchased a tv in over 10 years and things have changed greatly, so I had many question. Turns out that Best Buy's policy states that no one who calls in is allowed to speak to anyone at the store (!?!).This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I called 2001 and spoke with Eric. He patiently answered all of my questions for over 45 minutes. Although, ideally, I would have gone into the store to actually see what I was buying Eric's information was enough for me to make, what I consider to be a well-informed decision. At no point in out conversation was he pushing any particularly brand or price point.Once I had made a decision, I ran it by him. He agreed, based on what I had told him of my needs. I then told him that I needed to make a decision on the size before committing and that I would call him back after doing some measurements. He agreed and said that he would be ready whenever I was.I called him back after 15 minutes and made arrangements for curbside pick up. He even loaded it into my car and gave specific instructions on how to unpack and set it up without damaging it. My entire transaction with Eric, from start to finish, was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had (and the tv picture is beyond incredible).At the end of the day, a tv is a commodity - I can get one anywhere. Eric was absolutely the difference.

Called this afternoon after researching and (sadly) missing the boxing week sales. Xmas has been busy. Spoke (and met with) Shawn, we discussed my needs and he set me up with a great package that suits us right out the box.Staff were friendly from entering to leaving the store. We couldn't be happier and FINALLY I've a sound system to be proud of. Definitely will go to this location for all my future needs. Thank you!
