Good staff but god awful hours, recently raised their prices aswell. No longer worth going here so going to be switching to The Water Store on Woodlawn road.

The new owner is really great! very friendly. You can tell he cares and is very good with sanitizing. Definitely recommend.

Water is cheap enough and location is great. Hygiene is not a priority or wiping down the areas when water is pooling, and when I asked the staff if they had a disinfectant that I could use to wipe off the handle, she couldn't find any, not even in the bathroom. You've got to do better Water Depot!

DO NOT EVER Buy a hot tub from Steve B. and the Guelph Water Depot. Go direct to a dealer for such a large purchase and Water Depot can stick to water softeners. Buyer Beware, Steve’s “word” and empty promises are absolutely worthless. He’ll take your money and give you the run around for 9 months (That’s right, 9 months!) with absolutely nothing to show for it but t. In fact, he actually cost me money to try to do business with him. He never even returned my full deposit amount and still owes me money (even if it's only $21.05). It’s unbelievable how shady this guy is. Go to Sunrise Spas instead. They're Canadian and way better quality with their additional Roxul insulation used. Most people I tell ask why I didn’t cut and run months earlier. Even I can’t believe how patient I have been in this. But Steve opened his mouth and made a great offer (which I also have in e-mail form) that I was going to hold him to... It is now about preventing other family's from going through what he put us through. Here's my story. You be the judge:On Saturday, November 25th, 2017 my wife and I answered an add for $1000 OFF on a hot tub through her work and went into the Guelph Water Depot. We have always wanted a tub and decided to go ahead. We paid a deposit of $2812.05, approximately half of the total. It was a Viking Series Royal with all the steps, lifter, chemical for $4695. A great deal!Almost immediately, the stories began once we asked about delivery. It’s in customs, it’s the wrong one, they closed early because of the holidays, the manufacturer Viking Spas Inc. screwed up. By February he e-mailed me and offered me “no more money owed” due to the fiasco and said he would re-order from Viking and I’ll have it soon. I agreed since it was a great deal and worth the antics. Nothing happened. In March, I decided to call Viking Spas myself in Michigan just to see if he was telling me the truth. They had NO Record of his so called “re-order”. Well my call sparked something, and I was told that this would be rectified quickly. He was put on Viking Spas “Watch List” because of his own actions and he now had to buy his product outright from them first to be able to represent them. Fast forward a couple months and my wife is now starting to drop by the store looking for Steve to talk face to face. He continues to dodge us and even accuses my wife via e-mail of harassment of his staff for stopping by the store twice. My wife is tiny by the way, and keeping in mind he still has our $2821.05, won’t answer our calls and we still have no hot tub 6 months later and a winter season done. Eventually I call the Water Depot President and Founder Peter Strain to help facilitate this situation. Unfortunately, Peter couldn’t have cared less about me, and was as about as useless as Steve is. Even Peter recommended that I get a lawyer after the fact, but all I wanted was the hot tub offer Steve promised and I would go away. Eventually Steve informed me that he actually had the tub in his possession BUT he refused to release it until my wife and I signed a confidentiality waiver about this situation. I agreed to sign BUT he then included a clause about paying for delivery (anywhere from $400-$800 I was told by Peter) which was always included in the original price and part of the “no more monies owed” from his great deal offer back in February. Eventually I gave in and was willing to pay the delivery, but it was too late. After 9 months of lies he decided to refund me part of my deposit and wished me the best in the future. I say part because I received a cheque for $2800 at the end of August. Thank GOD it even cleared but he still owes me $21.05 because he couldn’t be bothered to look up exactly how much money he took from us when he cut the cheque. I have e-mails and texts showing all of his misrepresentations. Steve just can’t keep his word, BUT I will certainly keep mine and tell everyone I can my story. To this day I have never seen this unicorn of a Hot Tub. My wife is convinced it never existed. STAY AWAY

Wish they had better hours though. 11am is not early enough on a Saturday...when we have mid-day activities to attend to. Should be 9 or 10am like other WaterDepot locations. Besides that, great staff, clean location.

Upgraded my water softener with Steve and his team at Water Depot. The price was very fair, the installer was on time. Great job.Update - Tim Coleman (see review below) was absolutely correct. WHAT A CROOK. Without going down the rabbit hole, my experience was very similar. Three months of lies. They shipped the wrong tub to the border and I had to return it" "They shipped the right tub but it went to Minden

Very pleased with purchase of water softener. Seamless process. Purchased and installed in same week. Price included unit,taxes and installation which was nice. Would recommend in future and will return in future if I require any water purification needs.

I’m so sorry for this review but as a first impression it was really bad. My husband and I went today just to ask for a product who an employee of a different water depot store recommended and said we could probably find it here as all water depot are “the same”, unfortunately the “gentleman” at this store was VERY rude, did not let my husband finish his question regarding the product (lime residue product) and limited to say “I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know” I guess this sir was upset because it was almost closing time (they close Saturday’s at 4 and it was 3:30pm) so he just lost a potential client. We won’t return!!!

I go here for the R0/DI water for my saltwater aquarium. The facility is extra clean and the quality of the water is always 100%.

When you can walk into a store and get a friendly greeting and a lot of helpful advice when you are not there to make a purchase you have a great sales staff. Oh and because the young salesman was so fantastic I ended up making a purchase of water salts and will definitely be back there for any water related needs I have!
