I brought my wedding dress in for cleaning with basic dirt on the hem. I came in to pick it up and found stains that weren’t there before - they thought it was okay to give me back my dress in worse shape than to begin with.When shown the stains, they offered to give it a second try with cleaning, but were unsuccessful. It took a long time, too; the reason they gave was that their machines needed to be reprogrammed and that they were delayed in getting a technician to come look at it.Based on my experience and communication with them it is clear they did not know how to handle my dress and were neither comfortable, nor interested, on working on it further. The material was just standard polyester.A different dry cleaner was able to remove all the stains.

They have THE best customer service. The kindest staff. And the best cleaning !High recommend.

These are real people, working hard, caring for their community, and helping.Last but not least, they are very good at dry cleaning and their prices are reasonable!

My Lady’s experience: I’ve used Oak Hill several times and always with great satisfaction. I’ve given them the toughest tasks.. grease from a ski lift dripped onto an $800 pair of designer, stretch ski pants, coffee stains on a white sweatshirt and gummy sticker residue on a delicate shirt. The owner said he liked the challenge! Not only that, he didn’t charge me for a piece that came out perfectly because he thought he took too long to clean it ( required several treatments). I have been soliciting them off and on for years now, and currently use their complementary pick up and drop off service. I live in Saco and we are really lucky to have them service our area. They take care with each garment and find and remove every stain even if I don't let them know beforehand. I have made the mistake of trying one of the local chain places and they missed spots and destroyed lots of expensive, tailored clothes. Learn from my mistakes and take everything to Oak Hill.

My husband brought his wool hunting" coat to be dry cleaned. He was hoping it would take the stiffness and noise out of it. Unfortunately it's how the coat is made. The gentleman would not take any money from us

In a last minute scramble before my own marriage, I came to Oak Hill in hopes to have two men's dress shirts cleaned and pressed, and one simple wedding dress to be rid of all wrinkles. Recommended to me by an associate at Joseph's of Portland, I hoped they could squeeze me in. When I explained a bit about my situation and stated when I needed the garments to be completed by, I was given a look by the owners that silently said that's a tight window

I flew up for a wedding and my suit coat was all wrinkled from the travel. They told me to come in and they would take care of it. Was in and out in 10 minutes and the coat looks fantastic. 10/10 would recommend this place and will be doing my cleaning/pressing here from now on. Owners are incredibly nice and they saved me from an embarrassing wrinkled look. Thank you guys so much!!!
