I had a wonderful experience at the veteran clinic. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and patient with my questions about my cat's health. I left feeling reassured and informed.

Twice now we have used the vet services here, twice our dog has been worse from the treatment that we have been supplied with . Poor customer service, tell you tell call you back, they don’t. I’ll go somewhere else from now own. Don’t need my pets suffering more than needed.

Great service and care for animals. Just disappointed with how expensive they are. I've lived from BC to Ontario and it's one of the most expensive for sure. But still...great service!

There are a couple of other options in the area, but this is a really well run clinic. They, above any other clinic, seems to be able to accommodate anyone in need. It's a testament to how to do it right.

Although we aren't patients, I brought my dog in after she was attacked and needed treatment. The vet was so kind and amazing with my scared pup. She took the time to help her feel comfortable before doing anything traumatizing and gave me multiple treatment options and was transparent about cost the entire time.I just can't thank the team enough for being so kind to my pup Ahsoka while she was already scarred from her attack. Their kindness and patience and ability to get us in in an emergency appointment gave me so much peace of mind.

Vet refused to treat my dog after starting an exam citing that he could be dangerous to her person and her staff so sent me home with $40 (I bought them) in tranquilizers and rebooked us. I brought him back in all tranq'd up and they still refused to treat him but charged me $111 for the check up regardless. I contacted the clinic to discuss the charges and was informed that I would be called back. Two weeks pass, no call. I phone again and received a voice message from a manager who explains why they are refusing to refund my credit card despite my having to book in with a different vet clinic and pay another exam fee to get my pet the care he needs. No discussion, no meeting me part way. Not our vet anymore, sadly...you've got very friendly staff.

Unbelievable care and kindness at this Animal Hotel <3I was frantically looking for a place to take my 22 year old cockatiel (not easy, as not everywhere deals with birds). They not only took the exceptional car of my Sweetie Pie, but showed extreme kindness to my situation. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Amazing experience. My dog Wilbur was having troubles and even though they were very busy and it was last minute, they fit us in as they knew I was concerned. All of the staff is so welcoming and helpful. Wilbur is a nervous dog at the vet and they made him feel so comfortable. I felt super confident in the information I was getting, and you can tell Dr. Leanne Sackney really cares. So happy we have a such a great vet in town!

Nelson Animal Hospital is exceptional. We can't thank the staff enough for buying us an extra 4 months with our beloved cat and providing such compassionate service. Dr. Felton is an amazing vet - she makes you feel like family from the first visit right to the last. We are very grateful to have this resource in the community.
