Fantastic waffles for a late night treat. The place could be cleaned and fixed up a bit, but let's be honest you're not there for the atmosphere.

I had such a lovely visit to West Coast Waffles. The waffle that the lovely staff member, I believe her name was Vesper.., was so delicious! The first one is a sunrise waffle which has chorizo sauce on it. Very delicious and filling for breakfast. And the second one was a banana waffle which was just perfect for dessert! Will visit again!

The spouse said “It’s a power move for a breakfast place to open at 11am, but we must respect that.” 8-) The descriptions were too tempting not to go, though, and for vacationing brunchers the timing was not a problem.The just made waffles with generous amounts of toppings and lovely fresh fruit toppings were scrumptious. You might not want to order entirely separate waffle(s) for your child(ren), if you are watching your own waistline. 8-)

I just can't seem to find something decent here. The staff are always nice, and boy can they cook a waffle, but the combos are always justa little off. got the ham and cheese, but it had cinnamon on it (not mentioned on the menu) that totally ruined it. Sure I could get just a waffle and maple syrup, but then whats the point? this place is for a waffle MEAL not a regular ol waffle... All the combos are like this, so maybe just keep your mind open for some odd ingredient choices

Worst gluten free waffle" ever. It was a mushy cake. Softer and mushier than a pancake. Waffles should be crispy. I tried to eat it

Definitely one of the best waffle places in vic by far! The worker who was there was super nice, and definitely made the appearance of my waffle look super pretty and appetizing! It was super yummy and I’m so glad that this place is open till 4 am on Fridays and Saturday’s, because it definitely is a great midnight snack.I’m just wondering why there’s only one worker though for the whole restaurant even though it’s late at night?

The waffles themselves were really really good! The service was so-so… actually to be more specific, the service was a little abrasive. It’s just waffles, let’s chill out a little. Also, the table was sticky and I didn’t like to touch it. It looked wiped, but like it was just smeared around.

West Coast Waffles is an inexpensive stop for breakfast. The music is nothing too loud and there is a good selection on the menu. It could be cleaner but the price is right.Serving staff are friendly and helpful. The washroom is moderately accessible.

My husband, son and I, ate at WestCoast Waffles and were delighted with the waffles. Hubby ordered The Canadian, and was pleased that it wasn't too sweet, it had generous portions of fresh strawberries and real whipped cream and the hint of cinnamon and real maple syrup were the perfect match. I had a 'pick your own combination' of bananas, fresh blueberries, generous helpings of real whipped cream and real maple syrup and it was delicious. My son had a sweet choice of the Oreo Waffle, complete with crumbled Oreo cookies, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. The waffles were made fresh to order and were light and not too sweet and the servings of toppings were fresh and generous. The service was also friendly, and efficient. We stopped for a quick bite at this little restaurant and couldn't stop raving about how fresh and tasty it was. Next time, I will go for one of the savoury options. Overall, a great option for breakfast, lunch or tea time in downtown Victoria.
