The My House team did a great job to improve our home! We absolutely love the end result - it’s beautiful, comfortable and easy to maintain.As our house was built in the early 90s, all signs of ageing were becoming more obvious. The house felt dark and cramped. Now it feels bright, spacious and refreshed. Special thanks to Morgan for her design recommendations. We love the mixture of modern yet timeless look. We’ve been back in the house for about 9 months now and thoroughly enjoying the house. The renovation gave us what we wanted, down to the details.Renovating both the main floor and the upstairs is a big job so we were nervous. We are glad we ended up going with the My House team. The team is professional, knowledgeable, manages all aspects of the project and guides us through every step of the way, leaving us with no headaches. We are visual people, hence we particularly appreciate the drawings and video. Construction lasted about 7 months and there were a couple of surprises once the wall was opened up but the MyHouse team had solutions so we were all good. Bringing Our Vision to RealityAfter being in our home for 32 years with relatively few updates it was definitely time for a major change.Selecting My House Design/Build/Team to take us through our home redesign journey was an easy choice because of how they presented themselves on their website, all of their positive reviews, their great reputation and professionalism, and their many accolades.Doing a major renovation can be quite daunting, and even more so with the added challenges of a pandemic, but from our initial consultation, where everything was well presented and explained to us, we felt confident and at ease putting our complete trust in the My House Design/Build/Team.We were expertly guided through the entire process from building our wish list, coming up with a manageable budget and staying within that budget, design, construction, all the way through to completion. 
We did not have to worry about any aspects of our entire renovation as My House took care of absolutely everything; organizing permits, design meetings, hazmat testing, trades and contractors, etc. 
My House was completely transparent at all times, with no hidden surprises, throughout our entire project.We bought our home brand new 32 years ago and now, 32 years later, our home feels brand new once again!

I found that choosing a company to take care of my home renovation was a difficult decision to make. I spoke with 5 different companies and I chose My House Design Build Team. That decision was based mostly on visiting some of the homes they had worked on and seeing the quality of their work for myself. Visiting those homes gave me the sense that the My House Design Build Team were people that took pride in their work and excelled at it. I hoped that I would get the same quality and now that my project is complete, I can say that they certainly met the high standard that they advertised.This was my first experience with renovating and I definitely benefitted from working with the designer. When I look at my finished renovation, I would estimate that there must have been hundreds of decisions that needed to be made to complete this project. The designer quickly figured out that I was not going to be much help and so she did not overwhelm me with choices. She put together a package and then gave me a few basic decisions to make. The designer did the “heavy lifting” for me and I was extremely happy with what she created. I told her it was exactly what I wanted which was an amazing result because I did not know what I wanted until she showed it to me.As happy as I am with how my home renovation turned out I would not say that is the primary reason why I would choose to work with the My House Design Build Team again. After experiencing my home renovation, I would say that it is unreasonable to expect everything to go the way things are planned. I would guess there were between 50 and 100 different people involved with my project. In general, My House Design Build chooses to work with high quality trades and suppliers, but they cannot control everything. During my project some things did not go as planned but in every case My House Design simply took care of it and made things right.If you choose to work with My House Design Build you will be getting a fantastic result but more importantly you can be assured that they will take care of you along the way.

My House Design/Build completed a fabulous renovation of our 100 year old home several years ago. The quality of work was outstanding, from design to the finish touches of construction. There were several surprises when we started to take apart our house and uncover it's history, and My House was always ready with the solutions before we even realized there was a problem. We've now moved into another old house and were quick to go back to My House for support with interior design, and will be back for sure when we are ready for a big renovation!

Our house is not ready till the end of summer and so I cannot comment on punctuality. However as retired seniors renovating an old timer bungalow from top to bottom and practically every inch of the house, we need trustworthy professionals to guide us every step of the way. We could not have asked for a better team of architect, interior designer, project manager, the permit application liaison person, even the on site foreman and his workers. We were consulted, educated, led on tours of actual factories, showrooms which were planned out in organized fashion making them actually enjoyable without being overwhelming. The planning phase was very detail oriented keeping in mind our budget and sourcing out the best deals for our dollars. The design of the whole house was breathtaking, congruent yet not rigid without possible changes as we see fit. In short they are honest, open, friendly, above board, true professionals and leaders in their own fields of expertise. I just wish I can keep buying more real estate so more beautiful well built homes are available for Vancouverites!

We worked with My House Design to shift the cramped 70's layout of our home into something more modern and free-flowing. The results look great! They'd re-engineered the new layout from the aesthetic design to the wall placements and delivered on the chosen designs without fault.

In 2016, we purchased a 1981 house that needed a full renovation. After much consideration we choose My House Design Build. The team educated us on the process from start to finish, and made suggestions for things we never would have thought to do. Hiring My House was the absolute best decision we could have made. Graeme, Bruno, Adam, Ignacio, Kelly, Morgan, Jonathan, Mark and so many other support staff made this such an amazing experience.
