The food and staff hear are absolutely outstanding. The Fleming loggersports team came over from Ontario and stopped in for supper we all agree that is the #1 best fish and chips. And the cakes and pie was a wonderful treat. To finish, the staff where so beautiful they went above and beyond for us. They let us borrow a car to shuttle the students back to are hotel. If I could give 6 stars I would.

I had the Southern Style haddock last night, fantastic meal, my wife had the same plate but she is eating the other half today for lunch because she couldn't eat it all last night. The last time we went we had the Texas Style and it was just as good. Great place to eat.

Nautical theme is on point & their light flaky batter is fantastic. Get the seafood platter & share a little bit of everything! The waitress was friendly and accommodating.

I felt genuinely happy. The warmth the staff had for each and every customer was so lovely to experience. Such a positive atmosphere, great maritime inspired decor and good food. I won’t say this was the ‘best-ever’ fish and chips I had in the Maritimes but it was still plenty good. I will mention the place was supremely clean even though it was almost packed. The prices are great and so is the quantity. Ultimately, I can only thank the folks at Murphy’s for their hospitality. You made our trip to Truro (from Halifax) a bit more memorable.

Definitely very Nova Scotia. If you're going to have Fish n' Chips, then this is a great place to go. Friendly people. Downtown location. Fresh caught fish - supposedly ;) Enjoy!

Excellent fish and chips! Crispy and not greasy and a decent portion for a very nice price. Service was really good and super friendly. If you visit Truro Nova Scotia, make sure you go and eat your fish and chips at Murphy's!

Oh man, this place was great!Of course, got the fish & chips. Decor and atmosphere excellent. Food portions decent, and the fish batter was PERFECT. Staff were super friendly and on point.Tiny gripe: double check their hours before going. They close 'early'.

I'm travelling with a sports team. My 2nd time coming here (1st time was in 2019). Fantastic, consistently crispy and delicious fish and chips. This time I added the fish chowder. It was the perfect comfort food like a warm blanket. Friendly staff and pleasant maritime hospitality. Look forward to coming here again.
