Took our 2 dogs in for cuts and the groomers did an amazing job. It was our first time here and they did exactly what we asked for. We look forward to bringing our dogs back. This is our place to go and we are very happy! Thank you!

Just had our Pomsky groomed (not Australian shepherd ;) ) and we are very impressed with the quality of the work and the friendliness of the staff.

This is a great pet groomers in Hintonburg. The staff are knowledgeable and comfortable around dogs of all kinds. They have consistently taken great care of our long haired German shepherd Vida, who is a rescue with some separation anxiety and a mild fear of water. It is a little pricier than some of the more generic/chain groomers out there but that’s to be expected considering they are a small business in the heart of a trendy area. Keep in mind that they are VERY popular (likely given to their quality as well as being one of few groomers in an area with lots of population density and not many vehicles) so you will need to book in advance.Would recommend to anyone who is looking to upgrade from their current lacklustre groomers or who has a dog that could use some more care.

I’ve been taking my Mini Schnauzer, Seymour, to the Barking Barber for years and I have always been satisfied. They were the first groomer we went to where my dog wasn’t agitated when he got home. He is a very high energy, nervous dog and they handle him very well and always provide feedback on how he does. Plus he always looks great. Highly recommend!

I have a cockapoo named Maxx. His hair can get very curly and matted at times. I found that every time I take him to a groomer it would take 3-4hrs to groom him and it was always too short or not the way I wanted it. Since going to barking barber Maxx's hair comes out perfectly. Exactly the way I wanted it and alot less time then Expected. They are amazing at what they do.

Wow! Carolyn was awesome. We brought our 7 month old puppy for him first haircut Me he turned out so cute. Carolyn took really good care of him and he seemed really happy when we picked him up. Before and after photos attached.

We had taken our Cockapoo since a puppy here for grooming and nail trims. We had enrolled in the puppy package which was well worth the $ for socializing and getting him used to seeing a groomer. Great staff and our dog loves going there which shows how well they treat him.

I took my two toy poodles in August 2021. The haircuts were good, but the products used to bathe them gave one of them skin allergies, she couldn't stop scratching herself until the second time we bathed her, about two weeks later. I would recommend taking your own shampoo.Also, we lost our status as customers because we didn't take them for another haircut soon enough. When I tried to schedule a new appointment, they were not accepting new customers and since we were no longer considered as customers, we couldn't make an appointment. I guess they have a lot of demand to get away with this, but I personally found this offensive, as if indirectly telling lower tier customers to not make them lose their time.
