My daughter bought her first car from ride flex auto. Fred took his time and was very fair with price and information. She was able to call him anytime with questions and concerns. He always answered her questions promptly. She needed a new battery and immediately he said bring it to me. He keeps his word. He has been so nice to deal with. I would recommend ride flex auto 100%

If I could give a negative review, I likely would. I purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback for my daughter as her first car. She would be driving it from Toronto to BC, since she is a student and is studying there. I went to a dealership so the car could be have the safety done and thought it would be the best approach. I paid $14,750 for car in November 2022 - had the car 6 months. Fred told me when I picked up the car, they also put rust proofing on the car even though that was not requested. I thought that was a kind gesture/customer service item. I told him the safety was most important to me. In May, my daughter was driving the car and when breaking, it started shaking and the steering was pulling to the left. She took the car in to a mechanic to get it inspected and was told the subframe was so rusted the control arm snapped off and there are holes in the frame. This could impact her ability to steer the car. This is REALLY not good! It is not drivable and I am told, with the structural issues and level of rust, it should never have been safetied in the first place. I contacted the Rideflex and explained the situation. I have pictures of the under part of the car where the control arm broke and the rust/holes in the frame. Fred said he would not accept pictures or an opinion from any other mechanic and that I would have to bring it to his mechanic... hmmm the same one that said it was safetied in the first place, really? He is very well aware, the car is in BC now - with daughter, and it is not road worthy. In hindsight, I am wondering if the black tar like coating was included to cover the actual level of rust and potential structural issues, I would hope not but given the circumstances - it has come to mind. Fred said he was too busy to continue the conversation and had to go, then hung up. My daughter and others could have been injured while driving as a result of the structural issues or worse! Thought I would include the pictures to this review for reference and for future clients to see and form your own opinion, even if Fred/Rideflex refuses to accept them as evidence of the pre-existing issue. I was hoping we could come to a reasonable resolution and maybe we will. My daughter worked and studied and was relying on an a vehicle for her job. I am just happy she did not have an accident with car and is safe!

I want to thank you Fred of rideflexauto because he was very good and his service, whether the car is in good condition. I strongly recommend guys to come here and yo reach out to Fred for any car you want.

If you are going to buy from Fred, don’t expect him to have any work done on the car. You will receive your car “safetied” by his mechanic, but in reality you will be paying for that out of your own pocket if you choose to keep the car. Fred did not agree to fulfill the work that needs to be done in the guarantee he provides after you buy a car. Even if you clearly show him, there isn’t any work done from the safety, he won’t be willing to pay any expenses that SHOULD be covered under his guarantee. If you are still going through with buying from Fred, buy the car as-is and do the safety yourself from your own mechanic, you will save an extra $2000. Dishonest, unreliable and awful experience buying from here. Would not recommend, my car had a service light come up within a week and Fred wasent bothered one bit. The next week, the brakes seized up and they needed whole new rotors and calipers which Fred refuse to pay for even though it’s covered under the guarantee. I ended up returning my car due to this horrible experience. STAY AWAY or pay for your own safety. This was my experience with the 2011 bmw 323i he has listed.

Fred was so amazing and so helpful! He helped me find the perfect car and we have purchased from RideFlex Auto before and both cars are amazing! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a car and would for sure come back in the future.

Fred is a solid dude! I purchased a 2018 Nissan Rogue from him! Everything went smooth from start to finish! Would highly recommend!
