Caledon Animal Shelter
We went to the Caledon Animal Shelter looking to adopt a cat. The staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, informative and friendly. And there was ample staff in the facility as well. The facility was well kept and clean. It was the best animal shelter experience I’ve had. I ended up adopting a cat that same day! The lovely lady who helped me went through the cat’s medical history, informed us of how to properly feed the cat and told me what vet services should be completed next. A very positive and heartwarming experience.

Since we came to Bolton, 17 years ago, our family has adopted 5 wonderful and loving animals from this shelter. Every time we have gone to the shelter we are so pleased with the kind and friendly service we receive. Every animal has been an absolute joy to love and become a part of our family. We are truly grateful for this wonderful group of people who care for these animals until they can find forever homes like ours to get lots of love and happiness.

Great split area leash free dog park and lost and found for the area.y dog loves to run away, so they've kept him for us a couple times. The two areas for dogs to run free are large, open spaces that are great for them to run and play. There's a much bigger area for them to run like Forrest.

I adopted an adorable kitten last week from Caledon Animal Shelter. The process was about a week after submitting an application and summary. The staff were so friendly, helpful and informative with me, and made sure I had everything I needed once the adoption papers were signed. The kitty is doing well and I couldn't be happier!

Beware of adopting here and be careful with information given by staff, staff are not involved in process for adoption and cannot provide ACCURATE assistance with details in adoption. This makes it difficult to help these animals find happy homes due to flaming red tape via Town of Caledon.

Great dog park behind the shelter, sectioned into two areas. All the people we have met have been very friendly. They have poop bag receptacles available. I wish the owners would do a better job of picking up after their dog. Back area can get a little swampy, but they have tried to temporarily fence this off a little.
