A Clean Sweep Chimney Sweep

*** Absolutely awesome ***We had a bird stuck in the chimney above our bedroom fireplace (that hadn’t been opened for 20+ years). After opening up the fireplace and trying everything we could think of to coax the bird down, we started calling sweeps. After a disappointing couple of calls to sweeps that we’ve used before, I spoke to Simon who recognised that this needed sorting quickly and was round in 30 minutes. So helpful, knowledgeable and careful! To cut a long story short, the jackdaw survived, the bedroom fireplace is fire-worthy for the first time in 20 years and Simon did the chimneys for the downstairs stoves whilst he was here. All three chimneys smoke tested and certified, one stove re-cemented, everything left clean and tidy. Very reasonable, costing less per chimney than previous sweeps, even with the emergency callout, re-cementing stove pipe and saving the poor old jackdaw. Great advice about cowling and capping the unused chimney pots and back next week to sort them out. An absolute pleasure to do business with. Thank you ‘A Clean Sweep’! Absolutely brilliant. Cleaned two chimneys for me, one was an open fire and the other was a multi fuel burner, he was professional, friendly and very tidy, he also cleaned the fire and re-cemented parts of it where it had come away with use over time at no extra charge. Would definitely recommend. Thank you
