Mary Brown's Chicken

I wish I had their secret recipie so I could make my very own fried chicken at home. KFC's and Popeyes chicken does not simply compare. The savoury flavour, juicy tenderness and very little grease is what makes these guys stand out from the competition. Gravy and wedges is a must to order here as well. Place is clean and service is very good. Drive through is great addition at this location if you do not want to go inside the store. Make sure you fill out their survey online off the receipt to get 15 percent discount on your next visit.

This is not the same as I remember it as a kid growing up in the maritimes. Ordered the 13 piece feast, they screwed up so bad I took it back. What they gave me was 13 chicken wings, wedges that tasted like they were cooked and sitting for a week. The coleslaw was about the only thing that was palatable. WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR RETURN TO THIS MARY BROWNS CHICKEN. This place is a disgrace to Newfoundland and the Atlantic provinces.

Fabulous food and customer service. The food is very fresh and made very well - real chicken!!The team there is great and flexible; serving customers at the counter and drive-thru! Also very clean!

The woman who took our order was amazing! She checked in to make sure we were enjoying the food even though it was busy.

We picked up our order between 8:15 and 8:30 today. We ordered a spicy big Mary combo and a 3 piece spicy chicken tenders meal. Things at the restaurant we're great, customer service no problems. The problem came when I started eating my spicy Big Mary. The first half was well cooked, tasty sandwich. The second half on the other hand was extremely raw. Like, the little white membranes holding the raw chicken together hadn't dissolved level of raw. I have enclosed pictures. I drive across the city to go to Mary Browns for nostalgic reasons, but I don't know if I'll be able to stomach it again, depending on how severe the incoming food poisoning is. I have always thought stories like this from fast food chains were made up, that's why I gotta go one star here, sorry if the pictures are graphic I had to spit a bite out when I realized. RIP.
